- some of that was indeed shot at keystone.

-he had two faiths that year because the burgundy one got stolen in whistler mid-season right before deer valley. i think he is back on a faith now that he stores in a complete chester pedophile van that he purchased for a really low sum of cash.

-The DC Special at this point was version 1 and he didnt have all the kinks worked out. that bike worked but it was more just a trial run to see if the design would work in the real world i think. version 2 and the gearbox bike came a bit after this part was shot.

thanks for the views everyone, glad people seem to be enjoying it. maybe i should have titled this thread with some sort of stupid tech weenie tire comparison or something. it would be on page 8 by now.

He’s the kind of guy who will use electrical tape to mount up his broken shifter for a video shoot session and attach his lift ticket striaght to the bars, leaving it to flap around in the wind the whole day. He’s the kind of guy who will eat an entire jar of penut butter at a race because it only costs 3 bucks to fuel yourself for the weekend.

This was good, but this is my favorite:

Dave is the kind of guy who will weld up several of his own frames and show up to a race where he will beat you on a bike that cost him 400 bucks to build.

Any guy who can ride like that, aswel as design several frames, including an internally geared one, and make them, then have confidence to race them, definately has my respect.

i've had a weird week. just got my appendix removed yesterday.

So that was you/your gearbox bike with Luke out @ PA end of summer shuttle day. Wish I could have gotten a closer look.

that was me, but not the gearbox bike, i was using this one-


simple, lower and slacker than probably anything out there.

thanks for the welcome- i'm finding the winter isn't so bad yet.

it smelled bad... i ripped out all the carpet and put in a big scrap of home carpeting. it was a school van so there was bubble gum and soda and junk all over.

low? looks like the BB is even lower than the wheel axles

how is that air fork working out for you? its an idea ive been toying with after reading the writeup on littermag.
