Taj jumped through the rafters (and heater) launching from the spine in the subaru park and landing on the vert wall.

I watched all of the odd couple videos (@ RaysMTB) and he was the only rider to pull things I had never seen anyone else do there. I am still amazed.

I believe it, you should see that guy ride the T1 ramp. Talk about home court advantage. Shrediculous.

It was quite incredible to watch it go down in person. He'd been eying it and considering it- but was sore from the crash that was shown in the opening scene of him (another crazy line.) When he started making sure on the nails were flush where he would land I knew it was on. It was pretty intense waiting. Many run-ups and he was trying to get it done before others in the building new what was going down. Beside's Lenosky, George (videographer,) me (still photos,) and Taj I think maybe 4 others witnessed it in person. He's got a big old cankle from his second attempt before he did it clean.

btw- the Watts/Simpson vid was awesome but I'm a homer and thought Taj and Jeff should have won.

Ya they should have won. I am one of the guys who put up the screens and projectors.

At Rays today I peeped the line he had to take to pull that off.... WTF.... that man is an insane genius ! Cant wait for the video.

Yeah we need some video. I was there all day saturday, but left before the viewing. It was really cool to ride with the Pro's for most of the day.

The vid should be posted soon. George was going to you tube or vimeo it when he got home. I should have some pics for liquid-dirt shortly. I gotta hang onto the banger for something a little bigger than message boards or the LD.

Ohhh Nasty, I did hear him say to Ray on Saturday "I'm not riding, just going to hang out today" i see why, ouch.


Damn where are the vids at already!

ummm, WTF?! I've been to Ray's a couple times and just can't figure out what the hell transfer he did. That spine in the Subaru park seems like it isn't close to anything. Can't wait to see the footage of that.

...Although I hope it's after our Ray's trip next week so I'm not completely humiliated for not being able to ride a teeny tiny fraction of how they ride.

From my buddy that stayed and watched the video's


"Taj in the Subaru bowl launching from the spine up and over one of the ceiling supports and dropping back in on the wall (the grind room is right behind it) from that high up (****ING HUGE)"

Oh don't worry about that... I am turning 40 next week and my main goal is to be able to ride 3 times a week and and not get hurt.

PM me and let me know when you will be up. I am heading to DC on Sunday but I should be able to ride Sunday morning or Sat. I'll be there tomorrow and possibly Thursday.
