This has replaced the Audi A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro...

1991 VW Jetta GLI 2.0L 16v

It took long enough, but I was finally able to find the right car for me. This thing is SUPER clean for being a 1991 and runs and pulls like a champ. Bike rack, new stereo, and some light tint are all going in this next week. I literally just pulled it into the driveway and snapped some pictures.

Also, note that I ran rain gutter mount towers and they worked just fine. A little unorthodox, but they will be easier to find. I also discovered that Mk3 racks will fit on a Corrado and they cost a lot less.

I scored some Thule base racks on craigslist (almost new) for $90. They are the gutter mount ones, but hell for $90, I don't care how they mount as well as they work! I just need to find a fairing for it now.

Evan, nope. Ryan was driving a old school 2 door Volvo DL240(?) Turbo.

Also need to get all of the registration done sometime this week. I'm super bummed, I got that cold that's going around here. Ugh. It's average sick time is 2 weeks. Hope I can shake this off before race season starts.

Josh - Sorry to hear you are sick. I got the cold bad on Monday, but I am back to work today. Of course, I am self-employed, so no sick days, but I am running at about 70%.
Just stay resting one day longer than you think you need to. Everybody's mistake seems to be going back to work too soon. I hope I'm not pushing it myself.

I have a not-too-bad Thule fairing that I don't need now that the R is gone. You can have it.
