building these up for a customer with some 29er Flows. Surprisingly light. Carbon shell. Few cartridge bearings impress me. The bearings in these hubs impress me. Need to see what kind they are. Sort of a sister company of Formula...based out of Petaluma, CA.

The fifteen.g cranks are quite nice. Light. Stiff...the guy that got the Chub hubs was also sent a set of the cranks. Same guys that do Formula brakes.

m83, yeah, it's for a MTB. They're working on a cassette version. Prices are pretty reasonable...and by that I mean surprisingly cheap.

Been rockin' the chub every day on commuter duty in salty NY for 3 months straight. There is a minor issue of bearing preload when you re-adjust the chain tension, but it seems to work itself free in the first ride.
We got a rear one on demo from the hive, and are quite impressed with the durability considering how little meat there is to it. They really thought out the re-design through and through.
