Curious to hear some reviews if anyone has some ride time. Gotta admit I am tempted once my cranks are cashed. Not too worried about the strength, more curious to see what a difference they make in feeling "connected" or "at one" with the bike. I can feel the difference quite a bit each time I step to a more lo-pro pedal so this would be the ultimate in that respect. And no, I don't want anything to do with clipless before some smartass tells me to clip in... :twitch:

I have read the flypaper thread on here, and the dirt review. Just interested in anyone on here that may of gotten a set on their bike over the winter or what not.

I tried to buy some, but the guy seemed reluctant to take my money, very slow communications etc, I lost interest.

I met the dude in Angel Fire last season. Seemed like a nice enough guy. I'm sure he's frustrated that his paradigm-shifting product hasn't quite caught on yet. I have no interest since I've been clipped in since '95. Plus the whole dedicated crank thing ruins it for me.

I also briefly talked to a dude using them last season. Eli Krahenbuel (sp?) used them in at least one world cup in Bromont, maybe MSA too. As far as I could tell he liked them.

I saw them on a local rider's bike a few months ago.
Lots of people were saying things like "looks sketch", or "I'd break those in one ride".
Personally, I think they look cool, seem legit.
I'd totally give them a try, but then again, I dig eclectic parts/bikes.

they seem strong enough and are an awesome concept...i just don't like the price and crank arm choice

i'm gonna edit this just because i haven't seen anything, and maybe we should all edit it :)

some kid that came into my shop the other day said that canfield brothers are coming out with a new pedal that's just barely taller, cheaper, and isn't built into a crank arm. apparently it's completely flat also instead of that bump. i'm excited to see them because well...those brothers engineer some amazing stuff
2010 has some cool offerings for the interbike show! Theres some good stuff thats going to be released shortly from a couple of different manufacturers!

last time I saw either of the canfield brothers they were passed out in a minivan in the diablo parking lot at the US open! :busted:
Whats up Jon!
Root'ster' has some jumps in his front yard he rented a cat recently and started building. Biggest is around 35' and down from there as well as a step up. He picked up a new sponsor and has his name tagged to their new bike so he's stoked as well as upped his pay!

I found a deer but it was green around the collar so was no use! :thumb:

And cats are best packed into 888's for tuning! Sheesh, peeps forgot the marzocchi cat trick already!
Screw suspension tuning, make a hover bike. Here's how: attach a piece of toast to a cats back, butter side up. Then strap the whole assembly to your tires. A cat always lands on its feet, and toast always lands butter side down. There is no option but to float at this point.

What ever happened to the e13 pedals?
What an absolute joke! I pre-ordered a set in, I want to say, early August, and was told that they would be shipping out within a week. Well after 2 months of getting dicked around by them and told 4 times "oh they'll be sent out next week", I finally was able to get my money back in October after several phone calls.

Left a sour taste in my mouth regarding e13 for sure!

wonder what happened... probably supplier craziness w/ the financial markets going south right around that time.
