just sold tons of stuff and need to get another fork, i ran boxxers in the past for the most part, w/c,team x 2. And may get a race, the 08 looks real nice. looked at some w/c used and the 888's, what do all you monkey think or have. the fox 40's in my price range are very used and im around 200lbs.

I could try my best and make you a pair of forks out of household objects, but those you cost you somewhere around 30$, if you want to get it tuned that will cost you extra.

I saw a Boxxer WC go for $410 yesterday. Bummed I didn't snipe that auction...

Sounded like a great deal, i tried on it, it went for 510, i would jave done that but the crown wasnt what i wanted for my sunday. it was off a demo, i would guess all the sam hill imitators will be looking to trade crowns though this year :clapping:

This seems like a no brainer to me. I just got the same '08 66 RC3 off Jenson for $499 as well...f'ing sweet fork. I've been on Totems the past few years and am stoked to be back on a 'zoke.
So you are the one who beat me to it. I was going to order it and i saw one left, came back the next day and its gone. :disgust1:

Fox 40s are nice forks and you can probably find them for pretty cheap now. but i have to tell you from personal experience that they are a race fork, meaning you need to service them often to make sure they work top notch all the time. on the other hand all my buddies have boxxer teams with the fox seals in them and those forks are buttery sweet all the time.

Agreed, 40s are a bit of a hassle unless you have the knowledge to wrench on them or you know someone who can.

the 40 is not for me i guess, my bud says hell trade his sweet w/c for one if i find one. they seem taxed in my price range though.
the team is looking better and better. im thinking direct mount stem will be killer for when i crash to, hate twisted bars.

^Now you'll just bend em instead. On a side note, the team is a great fork, I loved mine and rarely had to service it, just replaced the seals once or twice and changed the oil every few months. My 40 seems to need far more servicing as others have said, oil changes and bladders are replaced many times a season.
