Is anyone using these cranks for dh? How are they holding up? Thanks.
SLX cranks for dh?

We have a set on a demo bike for 09. They look beefier than the hones we had last year, a little slimmer than the 09 saints we have on the other bikes. We'll post up if anything happens, but they look like a solid set of arms.
Great cranks, I used them for the last half of last year after using Hones for the previous 2 years. They are almost identical to the Hones, slightly different casting but identical weight (within 1 gram) Like the Hones, make sure you get the double ring version, it has the steel pedal inserts.
They're awesome, just make sure you get the dual ring version(FC-M665), instead of the triple(FC-M660). The dual has a steel pedal insert.

Thanks for replies, just one more question. Should i go to new saints because of stiffness over slx, or? How big are stiffness differences?
Not sure if you would notice the difference with the SLX cranks, they are pretty beefy.
