Hey. Quite evening, sick 13 year old makes for a quite house. He's better today but I too am not happy here at work. Meh.

Hi all! I am already jumping out of my seat today... short attention span with a ride planned for this evening. Let's PRAY the rain holds off long enough!

Good night last night. I learned some things about my rear de-railleur (sp?) and ACTUALLY FIXED MY GEAR PROBLEM MYSELF - - of course, I was walked through it step by step, but I did all the hands-on stuff!!!! My brakes didn't need work though - the problem seems to have resolved itself - so I guess I'll learn how to bleed them on a later date.

Tough day ahead, and the sooner its over the better. Got a few parts in yesterday so tonight will be spent re-building-up a bike and watching the tube. No rush, crappy weather ahead means any riding will be on the road this weekend.

THANKS! I actually REALLY enjoy working on the bikes - much more than I thought I would... I'm gonna be a regular grease-monkey before I know it!

Had our first softball practice of the season last night, put 4 over the fence. Have another one tonight with a different team.

I must confess, it was the short 280ft field, the fence is about 16ft high. Tonight's practice is on the 300ft field. They raised the fence last year to 16ft also because a lady was almost hit by a ball walking here dog. Last year I was robbed about 7 times, as the ball missed the top of the fence by about a foot. However, I have hit about 5 out on that field with the high fence

Morning all! I am loosing my voice...not sure why, but I am. I'm leaving on a jet plane....tonight for LUNA Summit. I am excited to get away and to get some good rides in. I owe a HUGE thank you to Sunny who's bringing a bike for me so I didn't have to pay the man for excessive shipping costs. Should be a good time, though I will miss Syd. She was SO cute this morning giving me lots of extra hugs and kisses for the days I will be away.

I am lucky if I even make contact with the ball. The only thing I'm good for is filling the female requirement on co-ed teams! LOL

Good Morning!!!

Skies opened up just before I was headed out the door to the dirt jumps. I was looking forward to some airtime since we've been rained out for the last three weeks, but whatever.

It's a foggy first half of the day. I'm headed off to the Employment Security Commission to do my thing and then it's back to the house to do some cleaning. The two-foot tornado has the place looking a bit rough, and there's some lovely crayon artwork on the living room wall that needs to be removed......or improved upon whichever your outlook on such things may be.

I donned my DHARMA jumpsuit and watched "LOST" last night after getting Colin off to bed and munched on some leftover pizza.

Jury duty yesterday, a pretty good gig actually. Sit, read and watch movies. Got out early enough to change oil in the car and spray the weeds in the yard. Today is my Friday, looking to get in an early ride tomorrow and then off for a dentist appointment.
