morewood izimu size question

I'm looking at getting the current morewood izimu complete bike.

only thing is that I'm 6'3 (1.91) so a bit nervous that the large won't be big enough for me.
currently have a large ReignX which feels A1, but looking forward to a full DH bike

anyone a similar height and got the large izimu, how does it feel?
just want to make sure I won't be bangin my knees off the bars..

They definitely aren't the biggest bikes out there, but I'm 6'3 and have been happy on a large Izimu for the past two seasons. I run 30" bars and a 65mm stem which helps lengthen the cockpit. Those two changes are definitely something to consider...

I have a small izimu. I am 5'11(not as tall as you guys but not short) and the large felt huge when I rode it around.

I'm 6'3" and been on each Izimu since 2005...my 2009 will be here tomorrow. You'll be fine...I run 50mm stem and 29" bars and it is comfortable...I'm more round and Red Bull is more lanky...:monkeydance:

I'm 6'1" and have a large with 750 bars and a 50mm stem. Fits me really really well. I'd try and have a test first, since I'm a fair bit smaller than you and it's about perfect for me.

193 with long legs and arms, using 70 mm stem and 730 bars which is perfect for me. Started with a 50 mm stem but the 70 mm one feels better. The bike seems to be a bit short in the cock-pit.

DiamondG: did you go with the Izimu?

I have the opposite question and thought I could borrow the thread...

What is the other height limit on the Izimu, i.e. when should you consider the small one?

I would say 5'11" and over would be large, 5'10" and under would be small. I like a slightly larger bike though; at 6' 1" I don't see how people 2-3" taller ride a large Izimu, so maybe some people just a tad shorter than me would like the short.
