I've been on the that tinted chrome frame not quite a month now. A P1 being my only other 26" dj/street ride, I don't have a lot to compare it too. Still getting used to the geometry difference with the two. There is no dj scene here so I haven't ridden a blk mrkt to compare the two yet. Wish I could be of more help, but if you have any specific questions just ask. The Agency on here and mtbr carries them through his shop so he may be able to chime in.

I too have "heard" that they did some blk mrkt's in the not too distant past and the Spank guys own part of some other bike companies... whatever tough, who knows for sure though, afterall it's a forum...

Interesting. I was scouring the shops BTI during lunch today and the spank stuff kept popping up.
Frames, Wheels, Bars, stems, and the list goes on.
I guess I would trust it, and or give it a shot.
More experience would be nice.

<--waiting on BTI order with my avids and straightline levers......

In a demo Tent near you...
Rumors, rumors....

I have ridden one since last September. As far as the Spank/Blk Mrkt connection...Sven was the importer for Blk Mrkt in Germany. The designer Gavin lives in Taiwan. Gavin has a part in Atomlab, founded FUNN, and has designed for Hayes, SRAM, etc.

It rides different than my Riot did. The colors are dope.

On a side note we are not going to be able to make it to Sea Otter. We will be at various races in CO and NM. Hope to see you guys there...

The Subrosas are pretty tough and fairly light for their strength. MBUK(bikeradar.com) has given them favourable reviews in the past and I've been running them since last year. They've seen skatepark/street abuse, DJ abuse, DH abuse and they keep coming back for more. They can be a real bitch to get tyres on and off though.

Probably the last bike they'll be on... This frame is just too fun for me to consider anything else.

X2 on the Subrosa's!

Sick ride...the Subrosa's are my favorite rim. I have run them the Spike, and the Tweet Tweet which is the same as last years Subrosa. The new Subrosa EVO is cool but I haven't had the chance to ride it yet...just handle it.

X3 ive been running subrosa's for 2 seasons now with no complaints. They as strong as any rim ive ridden in the past and have survived hundreds of horrible cases.

Mmmmm... You're talking about the Royala series... Spank should think about making spokes to match their rims as well. Think how sick that would look - Chromed out Tweet Tweet with gold Royala rims, matching gold spokes, gold hubs and white Halo Twin Rails all matched with the gold Royala Timer stem, gold Royala bars, white grips, silver Thomson Elite Post with a white saddle.
Heheh... I might be the only one to find that sexy though...

Brad, I was under the impression that you were a fabricator and a welder? At least that's the impression I have gotten by the way talk on the boards. Is it true that you have other people design, weld and produce your frames/bars/etc? Curious why you need to have a "shop" to get all of this stuff made for you? Not hatin'. I know you can get touchy, just curious.

The Spank frames are nice and light...But the colors are a bit gaudy for me. I work at BTI and have seen a couple colors go through. The rims that they have look nice though. I'd get some if I wasn't already getting some AtomLabs

No problem good questions , not trying to thread jack
To help answer your your questions
We still produce all our frames in house I handle all the tube mitering, alignment and tak welding of the frames our employee Joe handle all the production welding duties ,
Regarding design work : I do ALL the design work , in the past we have had some outside engineers help but all Nemesis Project products start from my direct ideas and designs .

I was in Tokyo doing work for KOWA factory and meeting with their company reps .
Gavin and his company are helping me with another project , yet to be disclosed .

Edit: here's a pic' of the new SPANK Tugjob grips !!!
