My weekend was completely uneventful and I slept like shyte last night.

Crappy weather here. Coloured Easter eggs yesterday. Gracie's little hand is now incredible hulk green....and will likely continue to be that way for the foreseeable future...
Good morning! Good weekend here. First club road ride yesterday, so it was nice to see some faces I haven't seen since last fall. It's still too muddy and wet to mountain bike around here, so I need to stick to pavement for the time being. I guess it's better than nothing!
Morning - did lots and lots of yard work, cleaned up the garage and finished building a bike this weekend. Also dealt with a lot of youth hockey bull**** that has me down a bit.

Had a nice 2.5 hour ride in the Holyoke range yesterday with some new friends I met online. They were very nice & didn't complain once about how slow I am. LOL... I had to put my bike on my shoulder & hike up at least half of our climbs. They kicked my butt!
Then, I somehow drove my car up against the concrete base of the light in the parking lot this morning. Took out both doors on the passenger side & probably the rear panel as well. Ugh! Stupid.
I hope you all have a better morning than me! & a great day too!

Morning. Weather was pretty crappy this weekend so we did some indoor work on Saturday and went birthday shopping. Sunday we took Syd to a birthday party and then I did some school work (report card time). Tomorrow night is my Spring Concert (early) so I will be busy with that. I am hoping to put some miles on my road bike this week and maybe even hit the dirt at some point too!
decent weekend. went for a hike w/ the family during the nice weather yesterday in Harold Parker and found a cool, new-to-me trail. gotta ride this one soon. also did a little throwing and hitting practice w/ Miles, and played some basketball too. was hoping that 'Nova would put up a better fight than what they did, but the MSU/UConn game was excellent.

Two rides for me this weekend: one long road ride on Saturday; it was in the 40s, but SO windy. Then I took the hardtail out yesterday morning for a little street ride playing before the weather turned to crap.

Since my son had a fever no skiing this weekend and I spent the time raking the yard and picking up branches from the ice storm in December.
MMcG - don't you love how the more of your free time you volunteer to a sports organization the more bull you have to put up with. Parents have no idea what takes place besides practices and games. I deal with the same situation with you soccer. It is no wonder it get harder and harder to get people to help.

Crappy weekend. Can't ride because of a broken finger, can't drink beer. Was supposed to have dinner and drinks with this chick but she blew me off, not in the good way. Found out my uncle Walter died.

Had a very nice weekend. Saturday went to Kitt Peak Run 4/4/09 - a set on Flickr and toured the solar and 2.1 meter telescopes. Some German astronomers were monitoring winds on the surface of Venus through the solar telescope which we had the opportunity to view. Amazing stuff.
Sunday never got in gear to get the bike prepped and hit the trail. Spent the day doing odds and ends around the house.

Sorry about your uncle. I have an Uncle Walt, too. I like Uncle Walt. He is kind of nuts.
I can't be that sad for Wally. He was 93, in good health. Passed away in his sleep after spending the day with his daughter and grandchildren. He got it right.
Sorry for your loss. Definitely sounds like he went peacefully after a most enjoyable day.

Sad news about Uncle Walt, Westy.....sorry to hear that, man.
I've spent most of the morning on hold with the Employment Security Commission. They shorted me over 350 bucks this week, so I'm kinda pissed and hoping to get some resolution to this or I'm going to reach through the phone and strangle the first actual human I get to speak with.
It was a beautiful weekend here.....over 80 degrees yesterday. I couldn't do much, though.....crippled with a massive hangover from a long night of celebration for UNC's pimp-slapping of Villanova Saturday night. I'm sure Michigan St. is trying to get themselves pumped-up to play 'em tonight, but UNC is going to be too motivated by the memory of the drubbing Kansas gave 'em last year to even think about anything less than walking out of the arena with the shiny hardware. Go Heels!!

Friday yielded a haircut from my uber hipster barber.
Hit the Shore for 3 runs on Saturday and discovered that my speed is improving enough to require more air in my rear shock. My twisty rear rim is evidence of this... Got home, and spent an exorbitant amount of cash on some Meindl hiking boots for our West Coast Trail hike in June.
Went to Galbraith yesterday and did a couple loops. That place is awesome. Finally got my helmet cam working relatively well too! We rode 2 laps that took 4.5 hours all told. Hit Shaun's trail on lap 2 and nearly bit it hard on Meth Lab. Didn't look nearly so death defying on the helmet cam footage...

Nah.....no updates as of yet. Thanks for asking, though. I would imagine that since I haven't heard anything and it's now been a week, it just wasn't meant to be. Sucks, too......they have no idea what a good employee they were missing out on. I wish someone would take a chance on me....I want back in the game.

Man, weather was awesome this weekend. Spent Saturday on the moto with the family, spent Sunday moving some of our crap into the new pad. Street bike is done, but closed at 6:00 and I wasn't home in time.
The only suck part is the shop is closed until Tuesday with crap weather to return on Wednesday.
