A feral cat in my neighborhood tried to take up residence in my garage, and in doing so pissed on my hockey bag. The wholesome smell of old hockey gear has been replaced by the rotting smell of cat piss. Only my breezers and elbow pads were stinkified, and the elbows need replacing anyway. But I dont skate enough lately to justify new breezers (Although I may try to get new ones anyway. New hockey gear is as cool as new bike parts...) and promised my wife I would consult the smartest group of idiots I know as to how to get rid of cat piss smell, before seeking replacements. Any ideas?

If yo can find it (check a pet store) Natures Miracle works pretty well at removing pet odors. You're still gonna have to wash the ****e out of it though. Let dry completely and wait a couple of days and smell it again to be sure it's all gone.

Used to use Play it Again all the time back east, but have none here in SloCal that I know of. Even if there are some, I am sure they dont have much in the way of hockey gear.
Use the Monkey all the time, Hockey Giant too. I will probably try to catch an end of season sale. I need to get somewhere with more hockey.

white vinegar
Yeah that's what wildlife rehabers use for removing skunk spray from things. A lot cheaper and more effective than most other cleaners.
