OK, so I can stream HD video with no problems whatsoever at the moment (
is loading twice as fast as playing) but the freecaster feed is a constant 1/2 - 3 second stream then freeze. I can even play videos over the Freecaster site that load faster than play but the second I go to the live stream my input speeds plummet and the stream is currently just 1/4 second noises and the odd frame.

Only way anyone's gonna beat Graves this year is by T-boning him in a turn.

Of course, with his gates he's so far out in front that ain't gonna work either.

Where did he come from? Has he been up there before?
Roger Rinderknect (sp?)
is a total 4x badass, I don't have his stats in front of me, but he has been in almost all the main events, I don't think he has won a world cup, but he is one of the top 5 contenders in the sport.
Bad ass BMX rider too.

Nice shout out for you by Warner, Stik! I'm pulling for Bubba. I wonder who RC is pulling for?

A sniper would also be a good alternative. He was so far out in the final it made it boring to watch.

c'mon.... never heard of rinderknecht ? he's racing on top for a long time, lots of podiums and raced at the olympics.... top guy like stik said...

4x coverage was pretty boring....warner and the other guy hardly know any of the names ... funny jokes but the rest was just chaos ...

graves is fast as bubba, starts like alessi and is consistent like reed !

I’m a little confused. For the west coast; the freecaster count down stats the coverage will start at 3:15am but the blog has 6:15am as the start.

What's there to be confused about? Simply seems like they moved the start time forward a few hours. Perhaps to avoid rain. I'd trust the countdown ticker more than the posted times.

the feed they get is the one we see too and alot of the heats had the wrong riders names on the graphics so you cant blame them for getting a little confused. i thought the commentary was pretty good to be honest...

"Unfortunately despite what freecaster may claim the coverage will not be fully live. They will only show the end of the track where it joins the 4X live. The rest of the run is prerecorded from Fridays quali. (Editor's note, I don't know if Sven is trying to be funny or if this is true.)"

interesting.... wonder if it is true or just sven kidding around. time will tell i guess

They also said the monitor they were looking at was crap and could barely see the riders so that prob was a major reason they could see who was who.

It's nuts isn't it ?

Basically if and when it comes on is the broadcast start time.

I get 3:15 and 4:15.

The race starts and 1:15pm Pietermaritzburg time which is 9 hours ahead of CA time. its 9:43 now so the race should start in roughly 6 hours.

1:15pm minus 9 hours = 4:15am pacific time.

Please don't trust me on this, I don't want you missing the race because of me.
