I remember all your disdain for my commentating when I co-hosted with Rob, so I wasn't expecting any love from you, but I will say if you are wishing for your 'favorite' guy to come back, you might as well start wishing for people to look back on George Bush as being a great president during his 8 yrs.......if you are too stupid to read between the lines=it ain't gonna happen.

Happy dreaming!
Apparently the mods didn't approve of my awesome 7th-grade-level photoshop creation of a specifically formulated vaginal sand removal ointment I'd recommend you try. Anyway, if you are too stupid to read between the lines, maybe the powers that be at Freecaster can train Warner's current sidekick in the fine art of fire-engine screaming until they can 'afford' to bring you back out on the circuit.

Sweet dreams to you too!

Does the term
"the track did not suit him/her"
in regards to 'pedalling' annoy anyone else?
There are a few guys that get paid a decent amount of money, knew africa would be a pedaler track and came somewhat unprepared.

All those listed are kids basically....takes sometime to build up the HorsePower Stik.

Peat, Minnaar, Hannah, Graves.....these guys got tons of mileage in their legs. If they work at it the young'ns will get there...:thumb:

i would agree with you if Mick Hannah hadn't hauled butt at Sea Otter then kicked all of our tails at Big Bear in 01 in both DH and Dual Slalom...at the ripe age of 17.

he had a lot of skill but his power was what i thought was impressive, his last straight at the Sea Otter Dual was awesome.

Thats a bold statement from somebody who has probably never ridden either shock.
i have riden the Evolver and i obviously havent ridden the new RS...nor did anywhere in my statement i mention anything about how it rides.

i said it kinda LOOKS like the Manitou.....or did you not see what i wrote and opened your mouth first?

don't get annoyed Stik, it's just a subtle British euphemism.

Oh yeah that was an all-time performance.

I'm not sure of the entire history of every racer. Hadn't Hannah been racing BMX since forever (i'm not 100% sure)...?.....he might have been fairly seasoned for his age or even near peak for 17 year old.

Some of the young'ns might been new to full-on training regimines. That's all i was saying.....give them some time to develop to reach their potential. This track seemed to favor the hardened-seasoned-fit racer.....but what do i know i'm just going off of information from the "MTB media". :pirate2::huh:

yeah some of them haven't been doing full on training schedules and i think that was stik's point....that they should be,

all though it is often the case... i don't think age should be used as an excuse, if your spending the time, effort, money and in some cases someone else's money and getting a salary to do world cups you should be training.

i think the reality of it is that some of the young ones might not be as strong mentally when it comes to training or a course like this, it is easy to get lazy on a pedal/power course.

who knows?

i know one thing they still gave world cup points out... pedal course or not.

robs screaming of "he's christ on a bike" during sam's run today, on easter sunday, was hilarious :clapping:

Hahaha, oh yeah! Warner is ****ing hilarious, I can't get enough of him. However I can understand how some could grow tired of him.
I love the part in Minnaar's run when he yells "if he was anymore fluid, he'd have to be liquidized!"

Excuse the pinkbike-esque question, but what's going on with the giant dildos that the podium spots got? It looks like there is something at the top of it but most of the pics and video seem to cut off the top and it looks like they are all holding giant c*cks.

Really, I'm just curious what the trophys were supposed to be.

Nice pic. I'm surprised no one's commented on him running an SRS with a bashguard plus a taco. I remember when Dave first redesigned the boomerang to be universal between the SRS and LG1, I thought some crazy pinkbike kid would mount up both, but I'd never actually seen it done until now.
I think those boys must have been a bit spoiled on the gearbox bikes... Check out Minnaars setup at I believe Mt St Anne last year, pic is from dirt mag:
