I thought I'd post this up in the DH forum since so many of y'all have interest in suspension designs (and since this frame probably has some 4X applications). The wacky kids at 24 have taken what looks like a Transition Double and moved the pivot to an interesting location. This kinda reminds me of the Cannondale with the shock for a top-tube.

Let's chat about it, shall we?

The thing I like about it is the...

um...

um...

I can't seem to come up with anything.

Does that actually say FlexToy? If so, is a name with both Flex and Toy a good name for a mountain bike? My wife occasionally likes to ride her "flextoy" when she's feeling rambunctious and it's no mountain bike.

well, the one nice thing, is you could run it single speed with no chain tensioner.

looks like it would be a good DJ bike with the single speed option....it's not like you need the latest in suspension technology for DJ'ing, just a little cushion.

Looks like when you're standing, or pedalling (because sometimes people do that on bikes), the shock won't move and the suspension won't squat.

All aboard the fail boat! A-HOY MAYTEES!

URT is making a comeback with single-speeders who want a lock-up design when they pedal out of the seat.

Who in the FR world wants that?

I doubt it's for the FR world anyway. It's for the cool dj/slope style kids that will only be jumping smooth lines on this and the susp is only for the fun factor and ocasional ledge landing.
