I wish the frame view aimed more toward the ground to show more of the trail/terrain. Otherwise, pretty cool video. I also wish it had a regular helmet cam view.
that was so rad! i like the other helmet pole-cam vids too but this one had a trippy feel to it. it would have been even better if he broke into a pop n' loc breakdance session at the end.
I have been trying to wrap my head around why exactly it doesn't look like his head is moving and I have come to this conclusion:
If you have a fixed perspective on something that is constantly moving, your perspective on the object you are attached to will contrast to other moving objects that you are seeing. In other words, the camera is attached to the helmet which is relatively tight against his head, so where ever the head moves, the camera also moves with no delay. So while the head can be moving, it won't look like it is since there is nothing to compare to the distance that it moved. The camera is fixed, so the head will always be in the center of its perspective.
