I just checked out the thread with Sinisters latest offering and it got me thinking. Has there ever been a year with so many amazing offerings in the DH world? Evil, Transition, Intense, Turner and Sinister all have new offerings that I almost instantly thought I would like to own. Even the big Corp. guys are bringing respectable stuff to the table (Giant and Trek).

Am I alone here or is 2009 the year of the bike? The Economy may be in the sh1tter, but if you are a DH'er and have any money, this is a good year!

In your pants
The 29'r rigid HT SS guys are the ones destroying our local fun trails. They complain about braking bumps, too many stunts, etc.

Basically, they're a bunch of roadies who, if they had their way, would flat-out pave the trails all the way down the mountain.

Ugh.

The hemp wearing, Prius driving, filling the air w/ smug crowd are welcome to look down their noses at me.......I'm still going to rock a bling'd V10.

You make the rest of the V10 owners, and DHers in general look stupid with that comment. Thanks, way to push the sport forward, Tard.

Dude, relax…..I guess you missed the South Park reference and if you still think my comment was serious switch to decaf, wtf.

Yep, I obviously realize that new bikes come out every year but often it is just a slightly revised version of the previous years model. I am pretty sure the Sinister will be available this year as it was proto'd last year. I also thought the Intense 951 will be out this year...certainly could be wrong, I am not an industry guy.

There are also a lot of others that I didn't mention (Yeti and some other "boutique" offerings). It just seems like this year just about everybody is rolling out a totally new DH model...except for Kona of course:shocked:
