Wow. New stuff looks awesome. I thought the cannon jump would look hairier than the drop, but it's actually the other way around.

The new stuff looks really fun, but from the looks of it that drop is not 13ft. maybe 13 pink bike feet
i think they said 13 feet long drop not a foot DROP drop.....
That I believe. it's more fun than just falling to a landing anyway

I wonder if the DH trail they mentioned in previous trail updates will be open for this weekend too. I was pretty stoked to ride that as well. If not, doesn't matter I guess. I'm sure they'll have it done soon.

t doubt it weren't they also gonna do a dh trail last year also. we didnt see it hopfully they will make it..

1 pinkbike foot equals .7 American feet, so that comes out to about 9 feet, not bad.
The new trail looks like the old flatliner offshoot that they had closed all last year.
I'm guessing that if they say its 13ft, they probably used a measuring tape and measured 13ft. However, where they measured to and from is unknown so perhaps it's bigger/smaller then listed, but don't let pictures fool you, i'm sure there will be a few people chickening out due to size even after posting about how small it is...and as for the new dh trail given the ****ty upcoming weather I would probably guess that won't be open this weekend but it has been built so fear not for the trail is no myth

Also.. I believe the 'new' dh trail is actually evil bob. I rode it a couple times last year, but it would be nice to ride it post-maintenance.
Evil Bob was awesome, no it wasn't open.

The dh trail will be opened in a week or two, you guys won't be dissapointed, its so gnar. And yes it will include a section of evil bob, but that is what makes it even better. The new stuff is the best stuff yet imo. All you haters are probably are too afraid to hit it, so rant on the internet about it.

Its big but not ridiculous. As for actual footage I can't say either, depends on where you land. It was fun tho. Sunday got to hit the other one to the left of this before it was closed. Great opening weekend of riding tho.
