Fabien is probably the most well spoken racer in the history of Mountain Bike racing.
Definitely NOT home schooled.
I think Fabien's greatest attribute in terms of the spoken word, is that he doesn't try too sound "brocal" and hash out all the usual moto/surfing/yo terms! He just speaks to the camera just like the person he is. Stoked!

It started raining right before Strait left the gate, they just didn't announce it until a couple riders later.

Random side note - I'm surprised no one else picked up on Brendan and Sam's middle line at the entrance to the left hand chute with the real high and low lines considering it was in Brendans helmet cam footy.
I noticed that too, but I'm not convinced it was quicker. The mtbcut "LaBresse Finals Video" http://www.mtbcut.tv/
shows Hill going over his line, and then Peat taking his line around it. Peat had way more exit speed. but then again, its hard to tell from video.

Still that was an awesome race, and it was so sweet to watch live on Freecaster :brows:. this season is shaping up awesome!:beerjam:

Look again, they don't show Peat through that section but Sammy def. overcooked it a bit and overshot the turn too. Oops

i didn't watch the freecaster coverage, but that video gave me chills!
thanks for some AWESOME CLIPS.

Peaty looks really comfortable and relaxed on his new bike, he has a flow i haven't seen from him in a bit, I'm stoked to see the big fella back up to full ramming speed!

We got our finals vid up on Dirt, I think it's awesome!

I was there and thats what it looked like.

I think Rennie's bail at the end of the course should be the last word in the debate of flats vs clipped in...

and holy SH!T that guy (or gal - not sure) that bailed at the beginning of the clip... that was spectacular. And good to see they were ok. Thanks for the cool vids...

mmmm Maybe... but that first crash - he was clipped in and his bike went for ages :bonk: - clearly Clips don't work for keeping the bike attached either.

the only time you won't unclip automatically is when you flip over backwards. And you don't want that to happen ever, regardless of pedal choice.

The jump that Rennie cased didn't appear to even exist for Peat. It looked like he was riding a different course.

Is Mick Hannah being a good employee and still running Kenda tires....?....that is pretty much incredible if he is.....

Might be Kenda's first WC podiums...?...

Thanks for that. I don't think I've ever had such a big smile on my face, while watching a downhill video. I was trying to contain myself but I couldn't haha. Great finals.

The line sam was taking off the start block was hilarious, especially coupled with "Sam Huck". Awesome.

I think it was that crash that had Rob saying, "He went down faster than the US economy."

Anyone see footage of Danice Uyesugi's crash. I guess her bike broke in four or five places.
