Its all good, and I know its off topic but generally do Americans not learn about Canada in school or what? I travel all over the States quite a bit with work and its retarded how many people dont have a clue about Canada.

And Americans wonder why they are hated world wide????? ( for the record I don't hate you) Seriously I've travelled around the world and people have known much more about Canada then people in the North Eastern Sates. Some of you guys live in your own little world and actually believe the hype you see on your TV channels........That hype being that the USA is the best place in the world and there's nothing outside your borders.
Some of you guys get it, but the majority just don't. Very sad indeed.

Back to biking.........When is the Final going down????? Are there any Webcast's??????

yeah, I noticed that too. Must be them americans again :lighten:...:poster_oops: I forgot this was an american site...

Is there anyway to tell who is Am Junior and who is Am Senior on the live timing?
Dennis Yuroshek was fastest senior am and he is done. I looks like they got thru them and the am women and now waiting for jr. am.

I checked the radar and there is a nasty looking storm over diablo now. Small so it should pass pretty quick.

My first year not making it down since it started in 2003.

U wont be saying that when you run out of Water.
Then the rest of the world runs out of food!:poster_oops:

SO the ground will be sloppy.... guess that can be good. The course looks a little rocky but not too bad. That can make for unexpected finishes.

Most of the pros are barely into the top 10 of the Amateur times. Have to believe it's pretty slick post-rain.

Would you give it up already. They have Obama now and we have Harper. 'nuff said.

I should also add that I'm glad to see Sam win again. I hope this is the start of his regaining his confidence and winning at the World Cups. As much as I'm happy to see Peat winning again (that's three in a row for him after Lisbon:eek:) I'd like to see more excitement and a closer points series at the World Cup.

Actually I was talking to some Canadian kid from BC yesterday and he said that America actually is the best country in the world. They pay way more for alcohol

and the junior am finals were such BS, and I'm saying this having benefited from the rain and raced before the postponement (go America!?).

Did Zdriluk (top qualifiier I believe) go down or was it just super sloppy? Hes a good ol' canadian ripper.
I'm not sure but it POURED after the 7th or 8th rider finished before the postponement. That course wet would be treacherous, although Richie Rude still finished near his time in the dry.

LMAO. This thread was titled "US Open Live" but I thought it was a war between the US and Canada. Get over it lads, we all live in different countries and that is just the way it is.

when the US runs out of water, so will the rest of the world and then we are all fooked :nopity:

So, the bloke from the country with the worlds second biggest desert won :clapping:

Wow, apparently jokes aren't cool with you.

Canada is badass.

The open turned out pretty good. I crashed out but the slop at the bottom from that rain was nasty and took out a lot of riders.

Saying that Americans don't care about Canada isn't a funny joke.......

Seems like we learned about every other country besides Canada in high school and college. Only mention it got was early pioneering days before it was a country and that's probably only because it had to do with beavers.

That storm totally killed the vibe on the course. Me being the first person to have a timed run after the storm and the first turn was by the far the worst, 3inches of slop mud. Rock gardens were spot on though, still fast. Embarassing to crash 5 feet out of the start gate. Damn weather.
