what happened to poly carbonate pedals? or those sweet twenty six pedals? all this cool stuff lol i'd like to hear more about them and which pedals are proven to work well and all that.. lets here it!:clue:

Wow. The choices are unlimited... This thread could get a zillion suggestions. Instead of making one, I'll just say get some 510's. Every platform pedal feels the same with 510's IMO.

used to run MG1's exclusively. recently switched to the Diety Decoy. 430gms 17mm thin good platform.
Second that, they are nice. They come from the same factory as the Kona pedals, they just have some extra machining on them. Nukeproof has their name on the same pedal, and they also have a lighter Mag/Ti(280g) version too.

SPD's. Keep those feet on the pedals nancy boy!
That's just silly. Have you seen Gee Atherton ride? He's clipped in and takes his foot off/out more than most riders with flats!!

I'm rockin some Wah Wah's - very very good. if I had to buy again I'd think about those atomlabs. Very light in the Ti version! Or the new Canfield Crampons.

Syncros mental magnesium's. 420g's, very tough, and the best traction you'll ever get from a flat pedal. They're pricey though.

Oh I know, I'm just giving the OP sh*t.

So Gee is clipped in for all his race runs? Sometimes it's hard to tell since he's wearing the skate shoes and I do see him throwing that foot out a lot. I just assume he's on flats for some of the races but I wouldn't know for sure.

Light pedals just don't do it for me, I want something I can plow into stuff!!

Burgtec penthouse flats are the kings in my opinion, stupidly expensive and 660g but after 2 years on a Sunday they are still in really good shape despite numerous smashes and they've only had 1 set of pins replaced in the right hand pedal. These things just keep going when others have snapped or bent f*ck out of the bodies!
