Friend of mine just sent me this. I mean, the food during the school year isn't great, but I guess things are even worse over the summer. I mean, assroted cookies?

Good news is, there are 5 other dining halls. Just not during the summer.

Get a group together and work on reforming school food policy. In an institute of higher learning, in California, it should be easy.

Some friends and I thought about trying something like that, but we decided that, since we're allowed to eat at the Pitzer dining hall as much as we want, which is a 5 min walk, tops, and is actually really good, we didn't care enough to bother. We just eat over there all the time.

I wish I had photos of the slop we were given in the 70's/80's. A random part of a butterscotch raisin cookie with gravy splashed on it would have been awesome.

That description left a burning image in my brain. Thank you sir.
Brings back memories... The poor kids (who had to provide some paperwork to get free lunch were always served last ) were my buddies as I had the thirty day punch card and I would bump them up in line and tell the lunch hag just to punch my card as many times as it took. My parents never questioned forking over cash for a thirty day card 2-3 times a month...

I was always freewheeling with my drugs back in the day too, wait, nevermind...
