Really nice bike! Love the color combo with the white 40 up front.

Seat angle looks a bit weird. Maybe tilt it back a bit backwards.

Also what kind of seat is that?

fizik freek AKA arse rape seat. You may just use a piece of wood, or just cut to the chase and sit on the seat post.

For those who can't have enough of this "old" bike before the 951 start to take over the place, here's my little baby.

Have a good summer when ever it arrives.

Philly, sort of
Fashion is as important as function. It's like with ricer cars, bling adds 3 BHP and you know it.

Nice ride man I love the stuff intense puts out. I am dreading (read as impatiently waiting) when official 951 frame prices get released.

The first set of meduim 951's hit the UPS trucks yesterday guy. Look for them at your local DH track this weekend

Rode one around a bit at a local Intense demo day here in VT and OMG that thing is incredible, not as good as the 303-RDH:biggrin: but very nice. You feel like you are in the bike rather than on top of the bike, corners amazingly and just looks like an all out race rig. Looks like an F1 car for DH.

Obviously I couldn't get a ton of info and time on the bike as it was a demo and set up terribly but it was a really nice bike and would be on my short list for sure if I had one.

The Uzzi VP looks pretty pimp as well, looked better than in the pictures, if that is possible.

Yeah, sometimes the bolts will back out, especially the upper bolt on the upper link. Lock-tite helps a little bit. Mine will usually last a few days on rought tracks now before it needs re-tightening.

//cjsmith44647 - Fork felt quite hard out of the box. Got really sticky after a few rides. took i apart and greased the seals and checked the bushings hardly any grease here at all. Got the same after a few more rides. Got a tip about the seal head in the damper that RS put a bushing in there that could be supertight and there's an o-ring there as well. Polished the bushing a little so it glides lighter on the shaft so now it's almost as plush as my old team. Thanks to the tight tolerances there will be a longer break in period on this fork so now I'll ride it for a while before i make any changes to it if needed. 3 of my friends run the same fork and only one of them I think was really good out of the box
Oooh and so an answer to your question.Apart for the fiddling and tweaking I Love the stiffness of it even though I liked the flex on the older one. It tracks really good over anything i've ridden so far and feels more stable in rooty and rocky terrain. Is as easy as the old one to service. So my verdict is: I like it a lot!

Linkage WILL break??!! If you don't give it sweet love, yes. It's an expensive piece of equipment so you should take care of it. This goes for any bike and any owner. I can't understand people whining about somebrand that sucks couse it can't take a pressurewasher and stand wet in the garage for a couple of days, rusting. I take mine apart once a month when riding normaly, more if it's wet. Wipe the outside of the bearings, turn them 1/3, check the grease, wipe the frame and bang it all together. It takes me about 2- 2 1/2 hours and it feels good to know that it will work next time I use it and there will be no annoying sounds or play. I'm tired of people who's asking what could be wrong when they come with their bikes with a thin layer of dry mud and dust, headsets, cranks and chains that hasn't been tightened, lubed or greased for months that squeels and rattles. Nice to see you take care of that $6500 bike, moron.

Summer is the best day of the year.
