Who's riding Friday? I'm up on my own that day, my friends all have jobs and responsibilities and kids and wives and things that kill the fun.

I'll be rolling on my 303 with a black and white Team Fat Kids jersey on. Find me, more fun to ride with people.

I'll be there with some friends. I'm on an older tan Demo 8 with a 40, and I'll be with another dude on a newer red Demo 8 with a 40 and a chick on a bluish-grayish V-10 with a 40. Come say hey and take some laps with us.

I'm sick and jealous of you all. When I heard of opening day, and saw I was off on my schedule, I was getting all "woody" with excitement. Then, as many of you know, my 16yo daughter gets in an auto wreck, broken leg, and is "sort of" bed-ridden for the next 3-4 weeks. So, in short, I'm watching her tomorrow while the wife works, UNLESS one of her friends comes over to spend some time with her. Then I'll make a bee line to try and hook up with you fine folks. If I do, I'll be on a blue/silver Cake4 with my white/yellow "I'm Alaina's Daddy" jersey on.

By the way, daughter is healing up quite well. Appetite is coming back, she's sitting up more, and trying the walker a bit, although the doc said no weight on her leg for another 3-4 weeks. At least she's coming around with her "teenage attitude" again........

I'll be rolling in my silver Tacoma with a Dakine pad, florida plates and a "Defend New Orleans" sticker on the back. I'm hard to miss, fat guy on a Yeti 303. Just yell out "Dirt" or "Hey **** Face" and I tend to reply.

This is me:

I live in Tahoe, about 20 min from Northstar. Weather has been weird lately. Mostly overcast and unseasonably cool for June, but the sun tends to poke through the clouds here and there, and we haven't seen any rain for about a week.

Dirt, I'll be up there. Look for the skinny/gaunt hipster looking douchebag on a black Zumbi F44. I sincerely doubt I'll be seeing another Zumbi out there.

No, it was a little bit above that jump. Small table into a right-hand berm. Landed too low, front end washed in the turn, I fell pretty hard, and my bike got all messed up. I walked away without a scratch though.

Man, I didn't see any of you fools today.
Oh well, be back up there tomorrow and Sunday. Bailed out when the rain came in today.

Well today was good in terms of not having to deal with long lift lines dings dongs sitting/blocking the trails. The trails were in descent shape as far as N* goes, good moisture in the morning that eventually went away even though there was a "small sprinkle" for about 10 mins after lunchtime that didn't amount to jackpoop for traction(still dusty and loose). The bottom section of Gypsy below the liftline is newish:berms and a few jumps, Boondocks:same as last year, Livewire hasn't changed much except the toilet bowl area as far as i can remember, Dogbone seems to have had some attention paid to it in a good way, that is until Sat. when it gets blown up. Sticks and Stones, Karpiel, and the rest to the Vista lift seemed the same. From Vista to the village they did some good work on the berms/wall rides. Good job N*crew for that! Thats a quick rundown on the trails that I rode Fri. If you guys have any other input post up..See you guys Sat/Sun.
