Thanks for pointing Rhys out. Rhys is only 17 years old and already finishing 13th at world cups... Watch out for this kid... He's only been racing for 3 years and getting quicker by the minute. I think he is also Australian Junior Champion.and by the way: 13 93 AUS19910911 WILLEMSE Rhys ° - 1:31.35 2:34.76 3:10.04 +06.71 68 - the next fast aussie
solid performance by yourself again - congrats, you were riding the Mondraker Proto with a white Boxxer right?Uncut spikes
Yes that was me, hehe! Not very happy with run, had a crash on top and a out of control two feet out before cannonball, but on bottom part my hands were dead.. too much high speed for me on the new boxxers and I think i need to go to a gym, hehesolid performance by yourself again - congrats, you were riding the Mondraker Proto with a white Boxxer right?
Thanks! I tried my best, hehe! But las time I rode here i was 9th, haha so not quite good performance compared to last time, but happy to ride such a high demanding track with so many profesional riders and be able to make it to the finalYeah Cesar, you were pinned. Nice work fella!
Fabien ran full spikes for his race run. You can ask Cesar Rojo above since he is on his team or you can listen to the rest of the interview to hear that he ran full spikes. It sounds a bit in the first part like he said that he didn't but listen again. Not to get all techno-geeky, but Fabien mentioned in the DirtTV vid he wasn't running spikes. He also recorded the fastest speed trap and was clearly the fastest rider on the day. Does anyone know if other riders chose to ride spikes/cut spikes and perhaps lost some speed and time through the course, as opposed to a faster rolling tire with less traction? Or were most people running the standard set of rubber? Just a thought
Okay i just watched the vid again and maybe his accent was un-clear to me and he said He did run spikes...Gnarly if he did because that must have taken some power to hit the speed he did. So how many other guys ran spikes and cut versions?
Yeah I got a bit ahead of myself listening to the first part of his interview. Then heard it clearly later on. Pretty impressive run with that being said.Fabien ran full spikes for his race run. Looks like not that many people ran full spikes, maybe some cut downs but not full.
Yeah....i started my download......got pulled into something else and came back 4 hours later.what's going on at Freecaster? been waiting almost an hour to download highlights from DH and it's not even half finished?
or how much their sponsors love having them worn on the podiumgod knows how most of these guys love their hugeflatbilled hats.
The crap you guys critique on here is mind numbing....there's no logo on Mr Syndicate's hat. what's with that?
If you're gonna be rude (intentionally or not - in this case I'm sure not) at least make some $ out of it... sheeesh.
ahhhh, what do you know about pro racing? eh?The crap you guys critique on here is mind numbing....
Greg's hat is white with white embossed logos on it. Much like the black monster hats with black monster claws, Black rockshox hat with black boxxer embossed, so and on and so on.
And no one 'makes money' for wearing a hat on the podium.
Best not poke fun at pro racers when old school pro racers lurk eh.there's no logo on Mr Syndicate's hat. what's with that?

because that isn't the kind of picture you are going to see in a magazine. tanyway - nit picking again (= purpose of teh interweb) who would choose a white on white embroidered logo? I'm sure there are a lot of braille readers out there.
Wow look how short Sam is compared to Greg. And he is standing on top of second.
