Very interesting thread. I see a lot of interesting view points being expressed, mostly people trying to justify to other people why they ride a particular fork, but still a lot of good perspective here. One thing is for sure, everyone of the big fork manufactures have produced a great line up at one time or another and every one of them have also had their fair share of pit falls. I hope Marzocchi, and Manitou for that matter, make a big come back. We can all use more options to choose from as far as I am concerned.

I see a lot of people bagging on Marzocchi in this thread and I have read about there recent problems with bushings play and such but how about my 2010 Boxxer Team I have owned it for two months now and it has been away getting fixed for one month.Yeah Rock Shox quality to be sure?Hey I have an idea Sram actually do some testing before releasing a crap product and have people like me shell out big money to sit and stare at my forkless DH bike.

^^ theres a whole thread on the Boxxer where you can vent your anger. leave the Marzocchi venting to this thread
Totally.

Of course when you buy first release of an entirely new product it probably aint gonna work as well as the last release of the previous generation.

I get a little tired of the proverbial weaksauce rant. Please, spare me.

I just put a brand new 09 boXXer Team on my sled. I'm sure it will work plenty fine and I saved about a grand over buying a 2010 model. I'll get the next generation boXXer after a couple of years when they work out the glitches. :clue:

But people always have to have the latest and greatest

You ordered the gray one?
I feel like I just cheated on you :(

A shop manager pulled an 09 40 RC2 off his showroom Session88. A shop employee ended up buying the bike and is putting a 888 on it. I got too good of a deal to pass it up. I decided to pass on the silver one from MA since I am getting a white one that is also new, full warranty, cheaper and he is throwing in a brake mount adapter. I feel fortunate to have found the deal but I feel a bit guilty too.
