no racing for me

Not many of you know me, but probably have seen me around diablo, my name is devin, i ride the blue plaid sunday. Last night, last chairlift, i was doing one last run. i decided to go over and hit dominion and such. i came flying into low breakout, too fast, went straight into a tree, stopped instanly knock the wind out of me really bad, broke my collarbone, bruised ribs, and im still waiting on the ct that says i have a fractured spine. i was supposed to be racing today but dont thnk that will happen anytime soon. too bad, i was killing it on that race course, im pretty confident i would have been on the podium for mens am. i might be back by sept-october, not really sure. ill be heavily medicated till then. see you in the future!

i want to thank Eric from diablo,the random who i managed to flag down who help get me help, the guy on the quad who works mountain creek lift service, and the emts. thanks a bunch for everyones help.

thanks everyone. and yes hesh, i broke my other collarbone last august, and then in november and was out for a while. i will find out tommorow how bad my back is. i think i have a cracked rib as well. i got percs and high grade herbals so i can get some quality bed rest. im sure ill be back for fall ripping, my favorite!

i was planning on getting a leatte brace eventually, but know it has now become a priority item at this point. i kinda got a reality check with the spine injury. it scares the crap out of me to be honest. im tryin to do this stuff for as long as possible. i have to have royal hook me up with another jersey too, they cut the other one right off.

i didnt crash cause it was a hard trail, obviously, i just came into the trail way too fast, i guess at not the right angle
