So, I was up at Northstar today and was hitting my last Livewire run when I clipped a pedal at somewhat high speed. All I remember is the clank of pedal on rock and then darkness. When I woke up, I was lying on my face.

I know my Sunline bars/stem are bent and Sunline grips and XO shifter are dead. While looking at my fork ('07 Boxxer WC), how the heck do I tell if it's bent etc??

I was pushing the fork through it's travel and it seems to be no differant than it was before. No binding etc.....

Looking at the bike from the front, it's obvious what's bent but the fork seems to be centered even while looking down from the stem, it seems ok.

I'm just really do not want to buy a new Boxxer WC.

Thanks Monkies.

I removed the stem/bars, loosened up the upper/lower crowns and the fork seems to have straightened out. I hope this solves it.

Now I just gotta buy a new Sunline stem/bars and XO shifter and I'm good to go.

Fairly sure the X0 has ball bearings instead of bushings, and it also has the adjustable lower paddle (w/pinchbolt). The new X9 feels good / works fine though

Good points but I'm going to just stick with the XO...I called my brother in law who will be getting this for me at a fairly decent discounted price so it's really no big deal. While I'm at it, going to get rid of the Formula K24s and go w/Code's, I am definately switching to 165mm Holzfellers from 170mm Holzfellers..170s were not the reason why I clipped the rock but like I said before, since I'm at it, might as well do it. I've been meaning to for awhile anyways.

The Sunline direct mount stem is sitting straight after I loosened everything up and retightened but there's no doubt the handlebar is bent.

I'm relieved that the fork isn't done in. I was stressed out but gave the upper/lower crowns a try. I did ask my bro in law to slide me a price on a 2010 WC......or 2009 WC if there are some lying around.
