I got married saturday the 18th in Tahoe. Just got back last night at 10:30. Still gotta unpack everything. Looks like Quo and I are going to have the same wedding anniversary.
Never been to Tahoe before. That place is awesome. We stayed in South Tahoe and rented a big house so some of our family and friends could stay with us. It was a blast. Did a little bit of Xc biking. Just asked some local kids at the skatepark what a mellow trail was. They pointed me to Powerline. That trail is fun. Super easy climbing, way fast descent. Tons of flow, no rocks. I haven't gone that fast on a singletrack trail ever. All of the singletrack out here has rock gardens and a couple of sections with no flow.
I was going to try finding Mr Toads since Kidwoo told me to hit it up, but i didn't have internet access at the house. Plus i was on a way tight schedule. Kinda funny though. The morning i was packing my stuff in the to van to head home, i saw a couple of riders that had some freeride bikes and pads on. They came right by the house we were renting. Apparently the Mr Toads trail was about two blocks from where we stayed. I was on 1569 Zapotec Drive. I think they said it was only a little ways from where we were. If i knew that, i would've hit it for sure.
Got married at Emerald bay. That view is fantastic. Never would've imagined it being like that. The wedding went smooth. No jitters, no crying. :0)

Oh yeah. I also got to check out Northstar for the first time. That place is sick. You locals that get to ride out there have a great mountain. We have nothing like that in Utah. That place was a ton of fun. I'd like to go back so i can ride more trails. I had to take it really easy on some of the rough stuff since i was getting married the next day. Those trails are fun as eff. That one with the table tops creeped me out though. I didn't ride it enough to figure out which ones were long, steep, good landings, etc. Didn't want to go over the bars right before getting hitched.
I didn't get any pics of Northstar just because i didn't want to slow down enough to take any.
I'll get some pics of the wedding posted in a bit.
