So after the rigid expirement, I quickly decided that a suspension fork was needed. Plain and simple riding on the street/park killed my wrists. Purchased a Recon 351 and put it on today. It feels amazing. I used a 2" piece of cable to permanently fix the MoCo at near lock-out since it comes with the Pop-lock gizmo. I may get a regular knob for it later, but for now it is great.

you can pull the moco cartridge out and there is a spring in there just pull the spring out. other wise you need a new knob and moco non poplock cartridge. Also you may need to play with spring rates. My pike was too soft stock, so i tried the firm spring then i went up to the xtra firm spring setup. now it is perfect

btw I want your wheelset!

what gearing are you running? Also wich Profile hubs are you running? I amgetting a wheelset with the high flange race hubs converting the rear axle to a solid 14mm but not sure if the front axle can be changed it is 3/8ths with the alum. 3piece axle i would rather a solid cromoly 3/8ths

I figured the spring in the MoCo knob/assembly could be removed, but the mini cable holds it. Basically the same set-up as the whole lever just minus the lever and cable. I set it to near lock-out so it mimics the feel of my Argyle on my Mob.

The wheelset has Profile Mini hubs. Basically a smaller flange set-up. They really look nice with the Ti hardware.. The gearing is 22/10.

Axis the fork is indeed for sale.

Haha same thing here. I was rigid for a while, but I put a sus fork back on my 26 and sold my 24 BMX. I hated having sore wrists for a week every time I overshoot something, which I did weekly. I am now building a 24 with front sus, which should be the perfect bike for me.

I put in a new x-firm spring in the Recon and it made a huge difference. Now I leave the MoCo open and it rides perfect. Just the right amount of squish for big hits. Took it to the indoor park and felt like it was sheer perfection. The bike is finally done.

Very cool I thought the x-firm would help you out. Wish the recon u-turn setup fit in my pike so I could lower it more.
