just curious to hear opinions on the oil to use in the lowers. rock shox sez 15 wt fork oil in the service manual, but suggests 7.5 wt fork oil as an alternative; manitou techs are big fans of using 10w30 syn motor oil, and believe that the heavier automotive oils tend to keep the interfaces coated even after long periods of not using the fork. manitou doesn't consider auto oils to induce the dreaded seal swelling issues.
