Anyone care to speculate on geometry? The 2009 was a little tall for my tastes...

Nice looking Sunday!

Seriously Giant. Design your own damn bikes.:mad:

I also love how Giant downsized their pivot bearings too. 6 months must be too long to go without changing your bearings.

Typical Giant. All show and no balls.

FFS The Sunday was not the first linkage bike mate!
DW just put a lot of science and testing behind it to make his the best (IMO)
Giant has every right to use it.
Is that a Yeti top tube though?

hahaha, someone didn't like their Giant!

I had an 03 DH for almost 3 years. Sick bike until I broke it (my fault for not setting up suspension properly)

If you're going to be a hater its a nicer looking, lighter Sunday. You're ignorance is amazing.

If you're only getting 6 months out of bearings you are clearly not maintaining your bike right (house straight to the bearings?). I have had the same bearings in my Glory for almost 3 years before they went bad...

Typical forum poster, big nancy hiding behind a computer screen..and no balls.

Sort yourself out before you post nonsense

Looks sweet looks similar to the new Mondraker aswell which is no bad thing. I think this could make the Glory even more popular. Also digging the old school tire combination, its a long time since ive seen that combination on a bike.

The proto painting was much better and I still hate the team blue the giant uses. Make it black/white like when Gee was on giant.

I don't see it, the glory looks like the reign, the new reign x, trance and trance x, not a sunday good sir. similar to dw but far from. I've owned a glory and own a sunday, they ride nothing like each other, the both are great bikes none the less but not near the same.

Just heard the HA on the 2010 Glory is 65.5.

A bit steep for me but knowing Giant it won't be right anyway :)

Sucks they don't run proper 1.5 headtubes or you could get that fixed easy with eccentric reducer cups.

It's already been said, but I'll say it again because from experience I have to disagree. We have a load of Glory's, as well as the older style rig, and even a few ATX DH's kicking about town and they all hold up great. There was that hiccup before the links had helicoils and C-clips on the older models, but they learned from that and handled it great.

Giants are the quintessential 'all go and no show' bikes! They are not sexy, although the new rigs a getting there, and never have any flash to them. Just strong and dependable bikes that get the job done and are priced right (where I'm from anyway).

Every time I open a god damn thread about some bike that happens to use two links, a triangulated swingarm, and a vertical shock position some goober has to tell everyone how it was obviously a Sunday copy. Is it the same guy on all the forums or is their a legion of goobers doing it as a team? This is more annoying than having to constantly hear about Palmer's return (easy now.... I know some of you would give him a handjob if the chance arose). Do some homework, it's interesting and you may learn something.

This.

Are you new to the internet?
LOL

But The dude is right I have an 08 Glory and it looks nearly as new as the day i brought it due to the decent paint job..Even my 03 Dh team still looked good after 4 years service!!

They ride good, there priced good and the parts are cheap!! And it looks like they are on there way to making them quite sexy.. I do have to admit the 07 to 09 glory's were nice but a bit funky!:thumb:

Don't mak me come over there and smack you. You keep that sh!t to yourself so that I may go on dreaming of 64 degree head angles.
Ha ! The dream is over !

You want to sign my '64 degree head angle' petition :)

it is stated on velovert that the frame with shock weighs 8.8 lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is this for real ? i guess 35-38 lbs bikes will be the norm in the near future.
it is really amazing what companies can do with frames this days !
btw, i read somewhere that the sizing and geo will be the same as this years model (for me ,in terms of sizing ,that sux !).

Using a bit of cropping and some simple trig I put the head angle in that shot somewhere between 63.5 and 64.2.

Will there be a model for freeriding?

Looks good. With a frame weight that low I start to get worried about overly thin walled tubes...I feel like I hear a lot of horror stories about the session 88.

You know what's funny about that. Giant actually makes the Session bikes. Giant is a manufacturing company as well as a brand. This is common knowledge. Reference the huge Dirt write-up about it.
whered you see that at?

if they are, they need to do a better job making and overall QC on the Session's.
