Good Morning!!

Awww jeeeze....I did it again. Hot day, mowing the yard.....grilling out....another sixer of Old Chub. Why do I do this to myself? :D

It's going to be stupid-hot today. It already feels like a sauna out there and we're just in the 7 o'clock hour.

Y'all keep 'er cool out there. You folks in the Northeast....well, y'all just try and find some sunshine, somewhere. :thumb:

Good morning, :monkey:s! Back to work after a four day weekend. Four day weekends go by too fast. Well, it'll be nice to return to some normalcy after yesterday's excitement.

It was HopDevil for me last night.

Good morning all. Went home last night and had dinner with the parents. Chicken cooked over hickory, squash, and homegrown green beans. Mmm.

Get out of work early today to meet the Comcast guy and get set up for cable and internet. Its been rough without either. On the plus side I think I'm going to ride tonight for the first time in a while. Should be a good day.

Morning. Finally back on schedule. Had a good road ride yesterday after work, one of those that made you sad when it was over. Foil packet grilled some talapia with lemon and dill to go with a nice big fresh salad.

And my beer was Shipyard Summer Ale

Mountain biking with Mt. Drew this evening.

She is doing very well. Very shy, but getting more comfortable every day. I will get some pics as soon as I can get the camera away from the wife to download the pics.

She was a decent racer as well. Raced about 64 times with 6 wins and 8 second place finishes.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Morning all. Busy weekend and Monday for me. Friday night ride was rained-out, Saturday was a LUNA Chix bike maintenance clinic and ride (I rode my SS for the first time in a while and it was tough) followed by a BBQ with my folks to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary and my brother's birthday; and Sunday I chased Sq-Earl through the woods trying (a tad unsuccessfully) to outrun the rains. I managed two nearly matching bruises on my shins from the two days of rides too!

Monday was Syd's Super Secret Fun Adventure Day #1 - She's in to pretending she's the Lady in Pink (a super villain from one of the Backyardigans cartoons) so we surprised her with something fun and she got to be the leader all day! We took her to Adirondack Animal Land and she got to lead us around and choose what to do there all day, picnic lunch and then headed to the trails for a little MTB ride with her (on dirt :D ). Then she and Daddy hit the bike path and rode to a killer playground to play while Mommy lead a LUNA Chix Ride at Luther Forest. Picnic dinner and soft ice cream cones afterward. She was sound asleep in the car when we pulled in from our adventure day and hasn't stopped talking about it this morning :thumb:

Going to visit dad at the hospital later.

Morning y'all!

Moving truck got here yesterday and we unloaded. I now have all of my bike gear but I suspect that I will have to entertain the in-laws all day so no riding again. I did find some worn down DJs by the dog park here in town. They need a little shovel love but could be some fun.

I meant to mention this crazy dream I had last night:

For some reason or another, I was helping my dad carry sod through the backyard to some kind of powerline cut through the woods behind his house. We were throwing the sod into a running creek in order to stop erosion, and I looked up the hill and saw a bunch of kids on this great set of dirt jumps. They were hitting impossible-like hips and there were back yards nearby that had pump tracks in various states of construction. I looked down and all of a sudden, I had a really nice camera in my hand, so I started shooting pics of the bikers. Then, I was up on the roof of a shed that was swinging around on a cable like a ride at the fair. I was nearly falling off, and then we crashed into the house nearby. I was all anxious and pissed because I couldn't get the right shutter speed and ISO to make the photos come out right.

Then I woke up. :D

Morning, Monkeys! Back to work after a mad scramble. Met the new boss and co-workers yesterday while looking at property. I am very stoked. Still need to find a place, though. I will get a hotel for next week, then look more seriously. Right now I need to work on getting the house listed and ready.

I've been out of the loop while moving myself. I assume you got the job. Where did you end up?

Ashland, got a spot as a Lead Engineer for a small software company there. Also found out there is a bike path that runs from Central Point into Ashland that makes for a nice commute without traffic.
