Haven't put much love into my bike lately. FOX hooked me with the latest and greatest 831 DJ fork. This is the best DJ fork i've ridden yet. New FIT damper is teh sickness, and light as hell. It crushes riding the 36 float for DJ.
The 15 mm axle is the goods. Light as hell, and stiff as fyck. Don't know who is making 15 mm hubs right now. I'm rockin some Shimano proto.
Deity hooked up the sickest grips. No lie. These are the only grips i can ride for a seven hour session with out gloves. Got the newest Deity line of cranks, seat, and pedals as well. The new cranks are way lighter, and stronger than before.

Now for the goods. We managed to do something we never do. Dig our as$es off in July in Norcal. 100 to 115 degrees of hawtness.
The Farm is ripping right now, and so is the backyard.

C-money threw the gnarliest crash i have ever seen Back flipping a big set, then he got back up and pulled it 5 minutes later. Pure sickness.

C-money big trey.

So yeah, i held out from updating my yard til the Dirt issue came out that featured it. Go check it. Super sickness. and any b!tches whining about pumptracks, STFU, and go blog about yourself. If you had a backyard that was too small for real trails, you have a dirt skatepark like me.

Here are some shots i took.

So out of the track you can flow from one yard to the next into the mini mulch. I'm still getting truck loads of mulch from the forest, so it ain't full yet.

The lip to the mulch. It was fun molding it around this big as$ tree stump. It's about 6 feet tall.

I'm not a huge fan of pump tracks, but then I've never seen one like that.. The new cranks look nice, still 3pc?
Call it what you want. Pumptrack, flow track, Dirt park, or whatever. You have endless options, and the burms are retarded fun. Definately made us all better riders. Takes mad skill not to kill yourself while going full speed here. I've seen everybody get destroyed crashing here, including myself.

Kwoo, i don't know if it is a DJ only fork, but it is to me.:D

sick yard bro, it's still 150 billion degrees here in Austin, so we're all just waiting for October to bring us some cool weather and rain. We managed to dry stack for three days though and ended up with heatstroke and a sunburn that looked like I spent the day at raging waters. the article was dope and it's about time that we got some Americanism in DIRT. Thanks for digging.

Yeah. I'll take surfing some good waves over anything. Fycking love that $hit. Been doing it since i was 10 years old.
Living in San Diego in 1997 El Ninio was the best year of my life. Consistantly double overhead through the whole Fall/Winter.
