Good Morning!!
It's gonna be a scorcher today. ....And tomorrow. ....And the day after that. ...And the day after that. August around here sure can get oppressive with teh heat.
Low-key evening...Colin and I went by to visit my parents for awhile. Did a little fishing, but it was so steamy, it made it miserable to just stand there. The fish knew better, and all headed for deeper water, I think. Grilled some chops, had a few Old Chubs, watched "Burn Notice" and hit the sack.
Trying to stay cool this weekend. Might head up to the mountains and take some pics of the DH race on Sunday.

Good morning all. The ride with Joe was good last night minus crashing about 100 yards into the trail and just a general inability to ride anything. Oh well, I'll try and get out again tonight and redeem myself.
Company coming this weekend. A few of the girlfriend's friends are coming up to check out law schools. I'm praying I don't have to do any entertaining and can just carry on with my business.

We are getting our parking lot re-lined today, I don't know why, the old lines are still visible. Tomorrow supposed to ride with MBC, MMcG, and Danno-lites Dan. We'll see if MMcG bails.

Big documentation catch-up day for a couple machines that are shipping out, which always sucks. This week has been hell, as my boss was out all week and I somehow (no idea why, as I'm the mega noob of the engineering group) became the go-to guy for all mechanical work/design/issues. Hopefully I get to leave early since I was in early to help the guys with some last minute assembly work.
Possibly going out tonight with a couple friends I don't see too often. Highland tomorrow, 1/2 sleeve work Sunday, sometime this weekend doing a big 90k mile maintenance session on the trusty Jeep.

Morning! Off day today, about to head out for a ride to the LBS/Coffee Shop then do some chores. Tonight a friend is racing at the Velodrome in a corporate challenge amateur race so we're going out to heckle him, I mean cheer him on.

Taking Kasey the Greyhound for her first vet visit tonight. Then is there is time, joining X3 at the local track to throw stuff at the racers....I mean cheer them on.

Sold my pop-up camper yesterday. Guy coming to pick it up today. Planned on cutting fire wood tonight but apparently the NEW blade I just bought from Home Depot was used and put back on the shelf so now I need to make another trip to HD.

Hello, monkeys! I just had my three month knee checkup. I have been given the ok to resume mountain biking. HOORAY!!! Only fireroads and such though...no singletrack and nothing too technical. I have one final appointment in two months where hopefully they'll tell me I can resume all pre-injury activities.

Finally working on a good nights sleep for the first time all week to wake up to my dog throwing up all over the carpet at 3am. Thanks dog. Ugh. I'm pretty exhausted, it took an hour or so to clean up.

Morning all, just work today and hanging out tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm heading down the mountain to Lake Norman to hang out with some family in get in some much needed skiing, and jet skiing. Then Sunday I will be climbing all day, if the weather holds up...its looking like it just might. Oh, and I should be getting a road bike for free this weekend too, nothing nice, just a bike to get me around town.

I haven't ridden my bike (besides the 10 minute spin to work on some days) in about 2 weeks. Been slightly injured and working a lot on a paper that is going to be published (in something...details are a bit sketchy on my end at the moment). Still have some work to do on the paper, but at least have some vacation coming up. Lesbian priest wedding (seriously, as in they are two chicks and both are priests; could be fun) on Saturday, to the Cape on Sunday then to China next Friday.
