wow, two bikes that look simmilar. like thats never happened before now.

look at where the shock is attached to the lower links on both bikes, they may look roughly the same, but im willing to bet they are not going to ride the same.

on a different note, i would rather buy the mondraker. Dont know why, i just would.

What I find interesting is that isn't the Mondraker supposed to have like a 63.5' headtube? But the Giant looks like it's at least 2-4 degrees more slack.

What's up with that?

I think you're looking at the wrong forks. Blue bar plugs on the Mondraker.

In addition I can see two other advantages of the Mondraker over a number of other frames. One, it hasn't got a stupid dent prone forward bend in the lower downtube and two, the seat tube is as short as possible as opposed to the XC length seat tubes most moron designers spec.

" Lifetime warranty. :eek::thumb:
" Adjustable head angle in 3 positions: STD, +-1º and +-2º
" Adjustable chain stay in 4 positions: 435, 440, 445, 450mm
" Pro team bike 15.5kg M size, no pedals and tubeless tires as shown on the image.
" All axles and bolts in aluminium 7075-T6

cesar, any chance that was you i chatted to in whistler on sunday before the Garbo DH race on the Bike n' Bean patio? 2 canadian guys drooling over that sweet Mondraker before the race at about 12:00... had a unique blue TUNE/FLow wheelset... anyways, really nice looking bike with a build that is REALLY pushing the weight envelope IMO... good race?

Yes that was me & my baby bike, hehe! Yeah that bike is 15.8kg as i raced in the Garbo and today on A-line. Garbo didn't go to good just got midnight the day before from Spain so long trip and just did two runs on the bike that was completely new and then race... got 45th or so, hehe! But today on A-line not bad at all, 15th place.

I'll see you around!

For anyone interested UK RRP for this will be as follows,

Frameset: £2199.95
Team Build (Unsure of spec): £3999.95
Team Pro Build (The silly light one as seen in the promo pics): £5499.95

Which in funny money is roughly $3645 Frameset, $6625 Team build, or a whopping $9110 for the Team Pro.

Where are you getting these conversions? Not that any of it is cheap, but at current rates thats $3136, $5702, and $7839; ~500 - ~1200 off your quotes. Unless you speak of the funny Loony, and in that case, a bit closer, but still off.

It does look tight, lets see some action pics!!

Didn't happen to find a Can or US dist in the last month by anychance?

Cesar saw you blow by me up in Whistler and was able to get a good look in line before going up. It's quite the bike. Feel free to send me a frame and I promise to rock it in the weekend warrior style that I can. Congrats on the beautiful frame.
