Good Morning!!!

Hottest day of the summer predicted for today. Temps well in excess of 100 deg. with brutal humidity. Yesterday was pretty much right there as well.

The rigid fork experiment for the dirt jump rig has officially ended. After 8 months, I think it's fair to say I've given it a good try. On places like the BMX track, it's fine, but for other spots, it's just too chattery. Sunday's ride was waaay better than Sat with a whole lot less soreness afterwards.

The wife and I had a great evening together on Saturday. The in-laws got the boy and we hit the town. Had a nice dinner at the Mexican joint, and then had some yummy martini's afterwards at another place. It was awesome to actually sleep in without hearing "Get up, daddy....time to play" very early in the morning. :thumb:

Y'all find a way to keep cool today. I'm going to keep no less than 2 in. away from the fan at all times.

Happy Monday, monkeys! Yup, heat advisory in effect for today. Temps are going to push 100. 'Bout time some Summer weather got here.

Wife and I had a pretty low key weekend. We had dinner out all three nights. My fat butt needs to lose some poundage.

Good morning.
It was freakin' hot here all weekend too. I spent Saturday at/in the lake, Sat. night in the pub and Sunday at a bbq, floating around and sippin' drinks.

Morning. Summer indeed, finally. You know what they say, it's not the heat, it's the stupidity. Good weekend, Saturday was a 40 mile road ride accented by wings and beer mid ride, Mt. Drew made a pig out of himself but still was the courteous ride leader. Sunday was a tad damp.

Meetings, meetings, meetings this week, bleh.

Stay cool, fools.

Actually pretty nice here over the weekend, low 80's and sunny. We did have a vicious lighting show about 1 this morning though. Today is the wifes first day back teaching after a two year hiatus due to the birth of our daughter. Hurray extra cash!

Good Morning all!! Weekend started off great. As X3 said, had a great road ride with some good friends and good food as I doubled up X3 on the wing eatting contest, followed by a 40-45 mph downhill sprint.

Saturday night was following by a trip to the town musikfest...only to come back to a broken window on my car. F'er tried to slim-jim in, as you can see the scratches on the front windows, but I guess gave up and took out the back window. Funny this is..they took nothing. So now I get to call around today and see about getting it fixed before the adventure up to monkeyfest.

Sunday I laid on the couch..followed by football and more wings.

Have a good day/week all!!

Morning all! Good ride on Friday night with the guys followed by a couple of cold tops at the local pub. Saturday & Sunday we worked on Syd's playhouse -- it's 8x8 with a porch too. Should be sided tonight then we have a little trim work left. LUNA ride tonight if it starts to dry up a little and the t-storms stay away.

Morning Monkeys! Today is the first day of the new gig. Staying in a hotel in hopes to get word of my townhouse approval this morning, but will likely hear tomorrow. Little nervous, but also excited. Sold the DH bike over the weekend and ordered the CX bike in preparation for the 14 mile commute.

Hope everyone has an awesome day! Not sure how much workday monkey I will get, but I'll check in tonight fo sho!

Morning. Went for a shakedown ride on the new bike on Friday night - all systems were go.

Saturday - went for a ride with MBC, Quofan and Big T - fun! I also mowed the front and backyard and did a few other things around the house.

Sunday - yard work, trampoline building work, grocery shopping, eating, posting ride report from Saturday on the Monkey, TV watching.

Visited a friend down in NC over the weekend and rode my ass off. Hit trails near Charlotte and Wilkesboro. Trails were a lot of fun but I am looking forward getting back to trails with rocks roots and random logs.

Morning all.

Just an FYI for all of you who do your own cleaning, Mr. Clean products are awesome. The Mr Clean Magic Eraser works insanely good on anything. I used to to clean my old apartment before moving in with my fiance. It cleaned the walls, stove, sink, tile, etc great. I got my full deposit back. I also used the Mr. Clean car cleaning kit (the thing that attaches to your hose) for the first time this weekend. It doesn't require you to dry your car because it filters the water and drys without water spots. It worked really really well. So pumped.
