I have an lg1+ on my 08 sunday. Not sure if that helps, but once the spacing is done correctly it clears fine. I probably could bring it in a little closer but it seems to work fine and it clears the chainstay.
Sounds good Sandwich, although 07 frames and newer received "more chain guide clearance on the uprights", quoted from page one. That's why I'm a bit concerned.

Well I have PLENTY of clearance on that side. The only area of concern for me was with the chainstay moving and contacting the back of the upper guide. I'll snap a photo for you this evening if it'll help, but short of that area I had no clearance issues.
Plus, with DW involved with both companies, you know they made sure it fit on a Sunday before anything else...well maybe the Revolt. So far the guide has been great, no chain drops and the bash has held up to the low BB and the high east coast rocks.

I am not sure how the pinkbiker managed that, unless he somehow was running a 50mm chainline or made clearance for a granny gear....It actually looks a lot like cable rub as he has marks/groves that line up (as a cable would)...and a guide does not move in relation to the frame...

When you ride in mud, you can get marks like this pretty quick if cables touching the frame are moving.
Iceman, didn't you cover the bearing fits and threads before blasting? Do they still fit? What is about the small holes they made for ventilation for welding? Did you get grit into the frame, and out again?

m.m.w. - I didn't cover anything before blasting, although I used a plastic/glass media that is firm to the bearings and threads, yet effective enough to get the paint off quite quickly. Some of the grit got into the ventilation holes but I got it out again easily with some compressed air - no worries. Yes they fit perfectly, the threads just needed to be cleaned and the bearing tolerances were untouched. I even had a good sweat on pressing some of them in 
I know this must be covered some were throughout the pages but im not bothered looking through all the pages so if someone could tell me what page it has been covered on i would really appreciate it.
Im getting my Sunday powder coated and looking for some help on removing all the bearings and uper and lower linkage, Do i need any special tools, easy enough job? Easy to get the bearings back in?
Havnt done anything like this before so looking for some guidance before i go at it, dont wana wreck it.

I had ordered the Rock shox VIVID 5.1 tune-A from the LBS. They had ordered the tune-A parts from the SRAM and they had changed it from normal B to A tune.
When they had finished the assemble, I can using the starting rebound from FULL close just open 2 click to fast, NO compression damping had been adding and two - three clicks of the end stroke rebound. The shox also had a very big rebound feeling at the linkage area when you are pushing.
I would like to know if the tune A is correct, what's the value of the shock fluid should be using? (Sram recommended is using the 2.5 wt and I think for that shock feeling should be using 5 wt or higher to fit on my application)
Any advise, please command! Thanks!

Im 75kgs, and currently have a 300lb spring which seems okay (I have a spare 350 off my old bike if I need to step up)...

So what set-ups are people using? Still max bottom out, 3 clicks of Pro-pedal and 125psi?

I run my pressure at 140 and it is perfect for my corresponding spring. I run the spring at 2 turns preload. The bottom out is all the way +/in. Be sure to let the air out to 75psi before you turn the bottom out all in-then put your air pressure in. I also have the propedal at 3-4 turns and the rebound fairly slow. That should get you close.
Newbie-I got my DHX(B Tune) and sent it directly to Push for the A tune and the full detail. No substitute for a good working shock. I don't know if they offer it for the vivid, but it may be worth looking into since piece of mind is priceless! I will agree that 2.5 sounds really light, but if that's what they reccomend--it would change things quite a bit to stray from it.
I had try to use the TUNE-B at the SUNDAY but I found that the shock can't work normally. That why I had decided to use back the TUNE-A, the RS recommaned is using the 2.5 wt.
I will take back my bike at tomorrow. Let see does it work or not.

I am in between 185 and 190 with all gear on. I run a 400 lb titanium spring. The rear seems to be really plush and the heavier spring allows me to twist it up for bigger stuff. Pay close attention to how things feel with the rebound--I think it's an under-rated adjustment.
What's the ideal shock fluid for a DHX on a Sunday? Still 10 wt? Preferred brand?

Hey dude...i would probably advise you not to buy a large. I'm 5'11 and ride a medium and find it to be very comfortable. I actually had a 6'2 friend ride it and feel pretty comfortable. I used to ride a large cannondale prophet, which had a top tube around 24 or 24.5 and felt WAY stretched out on it. I would lean towards a medium sunday unless you're getting a killer deal that's too good to pass up.
6 foot here and love my medium. I did ride a large 7point for half a day and did get along with it alright, but, all in all, I wouldn't like the extra length on a Sunday.

I have an 07 Sunday WC. I just love it! I bought it from a buddy i ride/race with. It has a Fox DHX that he had Pushed in 07 on it now. I'm looking at getting the new Fox RC4 (the DHX needs some love).
Has anyone put one of these on a Sunday? What are your thoughts? Any fit issuses? If i get the RC4 will it work with the DW link outta the box?

99% sure the RC4 will not fit your 07. Not sure it will fit the 08 with the 'largest clearance lower link either'. A DH specific shop that sold IH like fluidride would be able to tell you for sure however.
IMO you would be better off having Push service the shock and bring it back up to spec. I know they (push) have changed a few things in their 'Sunday tune' over time. I had my shock done in spring 08 and they had receintly revamped the rebound (and addressed other concerns that I had, or had heard of). They are pretty good with tuning a shock to your desires if you are able to clearly explain what you want (IME).

I have a Question related to the spring rub on the Sunday 09 + Vivid configuration, I'm 200 so the spring rate for me I think should be #400 to 450Lbs.
Will a 400 or 450Lbs Vivid spring rub on a 09 Sunday that comes stock with the Vivid and a 300Lbs spring??
(Did a search in this thread and only find that some frames fit those springs and some not...)

TORRENDO - im about 220, i tried a 600lbs on vivid and it was rubbing against my 08 WC. dropped to 500 now, still didn`t like the feel. Am going for a 450 TI.
