We are still looking for Volunteers to help make this race happen. Feel free to contact me, Jay, Cecil or Renee if you are interested in helping out. Last year's event was huge.... actually it was a little bigger than we expected for a first time event. Almost too big for our small group of volunteers, so we would appreciate any help you're willing to give. we're working on food and swag for the volunteers -

Sweet just let us know, we have been training hard all summer. Been riding at Wilson and Canyons. My new favorite places to ride, and spending a lot of time at Paris, of course.

Man, could you whine a little more Butch, damn... you know that little stretch you rode anyways with the sharp right down to get to the road & shelter for the shuttle? yeah that is now part of the course. we're putting the finish on that trail before the road.... so yeah that makes two small uphill pedal sections....

If we ran the course to the Amphitheater yeah that'd be a SuperD

Super D or not, I'm excited as heck about this race. I had a rough time last year but it was still really fun.

I'm surprised no one is talking about how incredibly awesome the image ad looks.

Still thinking about building new sections towards the bottom Cecil? Let me know if you need any help with that. I'll try to make some of the dig days if I'm in town.

Really psyched the scene in my hometown has come so far since I left!

Maybe next year. Lots of Red Tape there and a lot of time to just get an ok to do it. Not going to happen this year. Its to much for anyone of us to handel right now in our lifes. Making sure the Race still happens is enough for us right now.

You can practice the day before the race on Friday the 16th. Course will be marked then. You will have to shuttle yourself or shuttle with friends on Friday. The only shuttle that will be provided will be on Race day for practice and race. Insurance for races is too high to pay for it two days to cover the shuttle on Friday. I am sure there will be plenty of people shuttling friday that you can get in with.

So the course will go down to the road? I thought the poll showed peeps wanted the same course as last year? Takes the big bikes out I guess.
Nah Chuck,
The start and finish line is going to be in the same place.
The parts we are changing were the straightaways that are eroded root balls.
Just throwing in some s berms to give the trail more flow, while keeping in the tech sections. It will be as big bike friendly as last year.

we'll provide lunch and beverages :cheers:afterwards, prolly over at Titos Pizza again like last time.

Sorry- I was confused by earlier post saying something about extending it to near the road and Cecil saying times would be longer at 3.00+

So you're saying it will be the same start-finish as last time just changing some
straits in between?

same course as last year Start at the top, finish is just before the last (3rd) bridge. Only change is some of the straight fall line sections of trail are getting carved into switched back bermed turns, and one or two more rock sections added.

3min times would've been if we had ran the course down to the Podium / shuttle pick up area.
