i see a picture of a plain d3 but doesnt look like you can buy it

The plain black carbon D3 is drool-worthy.

I've been happy with my early gen D2 for many years now, but my bike tart 'needs' for all things carbon must be satisfied.

Any idea on availability and pricing?

They should let Palmer design more of their helmets.

If you thought keeping a chris king from creaking was difficult, then placing a helmet on your head might be equally challenging.

i think they killed the helmets this year, the flat black and beta helmets are doppppe, and the rest of them actually; but their jerseys and pants for the most part are absolutly rediculous. sam hill needs to stop wearing absolute bull**** so people will stop thinking it's cool to wear fvking fruit loops for a kit. fads don't need to return, they're fads, and TLD is destroying my hope to return to downhill

Well there is no denying that some of the SE and one of two off the 2010 GP sets are hideous. However the Check-it kit that Hill wore in Schladming aswell as the Beta gear, the black/white GPAir gear and the '09 lightning bolt gear are definetly not fads, they where inspired from what I can see anyway by some pretty rad Flattrack leathers and old moto kits from the 1940's onwards. I think its rad when you can see the history and passion behind the ideas for kit designs in 2010.

Pretty cool I think and a damn site more passionate then the endless O'Neal or Answer Monster and Rockstar gear.

Ligtning bolts?

retro is tight, but i dont think 80's counts as retro but rather a mistake (neon stupid suits). and with the checkers, even in the old picture they arent covered with checkers like a joke, just the core of the jersey. and i agree, fox/oneal whatever needs a new designer on board. whatever happened to hill's regular specialized jersey? doesn't he have a damn contract?
