Sound like a fun time, however If I'm driving that far in September, I'll drive the extra hour and ride N*. This should be planned before N* opens for the season, or after.

Hey Mr. Sheratt

The race fee is pretty expensive for such a local race and I understand why but if I came a day before the race and helped line the course and organize and maintain things is there a possible free entry? Let me know if theres work to be done.. to help prepare of course

Its down stonewall to rocky for cat 1/pro, stonewall to fireroad for cat2/3. If you're racing cat 2/3, probably a 5-7 inch bike, if you're racing rocky too, probably a 6-8 inch bike.

Jake, come by the volunteer night tomorrow or Thursday night at Bloom Coffee on Eureka rd. at 6pm or give me a call at 916-919-6954. I'm sure I can put you to work and still get you on the hill for a shot at that cash...that's why I'm here bro, to help you out.

what kind of bike is the course best suited for? 6, 7, 8+ inches?
The course is real rough right now. Just walked it this morning and I have never seen it so rough. I recommend a DH rig for sure but I have ridden it on my Genius-a 6 inch travel bike and my Rig-a 29r hardtail so....you can get it done...do you want to win? Bring both and try em out. You'll have plenty of shuttles.

Yo Heath, on the website it says parking is $5, is that to get down into Mammoth Bar OHV park at the pay gate? Because its now $10 to get down there unless we get a $5 discount somehow. And where is registration gonna be located at down in the OHV park or at the turnout near the start?

Chris, the park is only charging us $5 bones for sure. They did discount it for us racers. Registration and vendors etc will all be down in the pit at the park. Shuttles will be running all day from 8am to 4pm friday and SAturday 8am til the end of the race. Tell a brutha!

Hope all goes well out there for you Heath!! I'm not going as I work graveyards plus I'm selling my DH bike and getting out of DH racing/riding.

Thanks for everything you've done for me!! I still have my trail bike so I'll still drop by the shop to pick things up.
