that's also a pretty biased review coming from someone who rides for them, sorry I have no personal experience with this fork, I don't think you'll find too many people that do. I think Dexter said he got to check one out.

If I didn't just purchase a new fork at the end of last year I would buy this. It's Cro-mo so it's a short, cheap paint job away from any color.

When are these forks coming out? Last I heard from Mike @ Atomlab was the end of Jan. I emailed him a couple days ago but no word back yet. I'm anxious to see what these look like and how they perform.

I was e-mailing mike throughout December. Initially he was going to try and rush me a fork so that I could ride it for my trip to Rays. However things got backed up and he said early January, and then it may have gotten pushed back again. I ended up going with a lowered 4X instead. I think that that fork is a nice option to a taller 100mm fork and will be nice ad stiff. It wasn't really what I needed though. I ride street and urban but also race 4X and dual. I was thinking that it would be enough movement to soften hits on the street but still not ride like a rigid. On the other hand, I didn't think it would soften things enough on a 4X course. Either way I don't see it being a bad option at the price.

I'd like to see an all black one, with those black stanchions...

wonder if the delays are coming from Taiwan, or if they are mechanical redesigns?

I think the delays are coming from Taiwan. I remember Mike saying something that he was hoping to have them already but something got backed up. I don't think they were mechanical redesigns...
