You're a busy man. Schladming in the weekend and now straight to Vegas. Kudos for your work ;)

I've also reminded what I wanted to see after last year euro/interbike - new brake designs. Preferably with some info about them.
I'm just lucky I got one day at home (almost), most people are flying directly to Las Vegas.

I got a request: Anyone gonna make Sunday and the other DW linkage bits and pieces? If not, I'm gonna do it! :D

Don't know if this one has been said, but I'd really like some info/pics on the new Evil Order. It sounds like a mix between the Imperial and the Sovereign, both of which are amazing frames that I regret selling.

I will have a Lenz next year for Diablo and will see how it works out. I ride 29ers for everything else so why not try it for DH.
Devin is a really cool guy to deal with! If you get a chance to hang with him in his factory you get a better idea as to how much labor goes into his bikes. When there is better tyre & rim choices for 29" dh specific stuff, things could get intresting!
Would be cool to see pics of 29" dh specific wheels & tyres from interbike, or anything made of bamboo.

Tires, rims and forks are coming. Salsa gordos are really nice and wide and plenty stiff. As for tires WTB has something coming and forks there is the dorado and Avy will work. Sould be interesting but I dont think it will be the one all be all.

The Banshee Legend MK1 looks very nice:

Is it going to be a full run bike or only limited production again this year? Nixon has one and I love the look of that ride. Wish it wasn't a large so I could have taken a spin on it.

There were good reasons for the delays (nothing to do with bike) but the extra testing time has all been made the most off... it will be worth the wait!

I'm just a bit crabby because my season wasn't the best (and I'm quite unsatisfied with my current rig) but I still have faith in you and the legend ;)

BTW. Do you work for the CIA? Everytime I see a post about banshee anywhereyou reply in no time ;)

haha, I just check all the forums and everyday to take in feedback that people have about my bikes so I can take it on board and potentially apply it when doing redesigns. It pays to stay in the loop. Also we have a tool on our blog and website that means we can track where hits are coming from, so I check those out too.

The legend MkII will be significantly improved over the MkI in a number of ways, it will be worth the wait!

Keith I've seen the planned changes and I'm not sure if there is any frame closer to what I want so it's quite possible it will be worth the wait ;) Probably that's what makes me so impatient.

But, but...WHERE?
Almost every site has ****loads of photos from schlad and I've seen at least one poc sponsored rider there. They also had a tent in the expo so maybe someone had a shot at their photos.

And for dirt - you can still order it ;)

Thanks,

We figured that it was worth investing heavily in R&D to try out best to get things right first time, especially for the legend frame, as there were quite a few things that have to be worked out as the design is a bit...different. Also, I plan to use some of what I have learnt and use that technology and filter it down to other bikes in our range. haha, it is like the Bugatti Veron engineering project... just on a much smaller scale, and more prototypes.

you mean a $4000 one side fork that is entirely electronic in its valving? Just what we need more dudes in spandex telling us how their cannondale is better than anything we have.
For a second there I thought cannondale was messing with an electro magnetic fluid system ala Ferrari/Audi.

Ala GM you mean. GM (2002 Caddy STS was first and Corvette soon afterwards) had that before anyone else of course they all (GM/VW products) use Delphi (a company formed by GM) MagneRide technology so its expected.

I like how the MTBR photog is very courteous and non-judgemental. If any random lady smiles for the camera, he politely posts the pic with the words booth babe ....whether it's warranted or not.

Yep, they are. Doc and Terry arrived in Vegas yesterday. Not sure if they have bikes with them or not . . . just know that the Silencer rides absolutely amazing :thumb:
