yo. does anyone know the number of the forest service road that is the short way to ranger creek? not the corral pass way? i got this thing where i can't remeber stuff too well...

There is a pretty good wash out right there at the bottom of FS72 that I would not want to go over in a car. My truck is only 2wd but I was glad to have the clearance.

Forest Service rd 72 ~ but keep in mind once you get about 3/4 the way up you must veer right onto FS rd 7150, which will take you to the trailhead, if you were to continue on 72 it takes you down into the valley
-enter that trail head, its about about a ten minute or so ride of up and downs until you take a sharp right down the Ranger Creek Palisades Trailhead.

Hell Yes! Some of the switch backs are not DH bike friendly, You will have to stop and pick up your bike to turn it.
Dont go blasting down the trail out of control.....You might run into hikers coming up the trail. This is a multi-use trail.
