New edit I put together with some footage out at Koala. Riders are Brett Auerbach, Eliot Jackson, Jake Kinney, and myself. Song is "Methods" by Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf.

Watch it on Vimeo if you want to see it in HD...

damn, i want to use Just Like A Test really bad for an edit. Charizma and PB are always on point.

what are you shooting with?
I'm using a Canon HFS100. It's great, but I'm still trying to figure out how to get consistently good looking shots in different lighting. You can tell in the vid that sometimes it looks a lot better than others.

Yeah, they are one of my favorite groups for sure. Real hip hop. That song is dope, you should use it.

awesome edit, tks.

hey i didn't see a giant booth at IB this year?
Yeah, they decided not to do one this year. They put a lot more attention/resources into the dirt demo. They also had display cases out front at IB that changed each day. I guess Trek does the same thing.

Oh, and thanks for the good words, guys. Glad you like the vid. I keep watching it just to see Brett ride... he blasts those jumps with crazy style!!

I love the shoot from behind the hip lander. The way everyone floats into the shot from the left looks awesome, nice shooting.

It's hard to tell through the compression, but I'd say you could get a lot cleaner looking slow-motion if you shoot with a faster shutter-speed. 1/250 is usually enough to get ultra clean edges on everything.

Yeah, I think you're right. I always forget to change that. And I wasn't planning on using that much slo-mo until I started editing.... doh!

I actually enjoy the editing... it's the filming that's annoying. I'd rather just drink beer and ride! :D

same, filming is teh gay, but when your computer likes your camera and you can edit without having to reformat clips like I do, editing is quite enjoyable.

Oh and this vid was on the comeup.
