Attached is the schedule for the upcoming Gravity East Round #9. We've put together a great weekend for all riders from local to far away. For those that haven't been to Blue Mountain yet we have a tall steep east coast vertical measuring 1082'. We just opened the mountain for Saturday riding thru Oct. 31st. We offer 8 trails top to bottom with plenty of variety. There are 2 jump parks, pump track, DS track, and a high speed quad to escort you to the top of the mountain. Don't be surprised if you get 15 runs !
There will be FREE CAMPING available in the Valley Lodge area Fri and Saturday night. ALSO, registration for any race will give you a pass to ride all three days at no extra charge. Now that's a good deal.
Saturday morning MMR Clinics will be held by Jsaon Beckley and special guest NEKO Mulallly. We will be giving these guys the DS track exclusively for lessons from 8-9am Sat. morning. Speaking of the DS track we added to it with a few more rollers and tables. This track is one of the best tracks the east coast has seen. We give away the loot and the prizes too, $500 Pro purse !

Pre - Registration open thru bikereg.com
Hope to see everyone at the race !!

Not trying to be a pain but.....

If Friday registration is 4 - 6 , how do we practice at Noon or is that a typo?

Thanks

Well the DS track has been redesigned. It is freakin awesome. New, beginning, new rollers section, berms the same, the triple new finish with a roller out of the berms, step up, roller, step down, roller, finish, sick. Hope all the DS'ers come check the the track out. This is definetely one of the coolest tracks I've seen and should be a ton of fun to ride and watch.

Purse for Pro DS is $500 bucks with industry prizes for the Cat's.

Should be fun, I'm excited about getting out there.

Just to give you some feedback, your website is very difficult to find information on. It would be nice if you could put all the information in that first post on a single page and then include a few links for lodging, pre-reg, etc.

Well we pretty much finished up the DS and DH for this weekends Gravity East Race. Be prepared to see the fastest race times from 1082' vertical drop at about 3 minutes. It might be possible to go below 3. The course is sick fast and full of flowy fun stuff. The Vertical Earth crew has really put together a course that I've heard people talk about racing for years. Nothing to crazy, the bus drop was rejected turned it into a wall ride. This will be more of a landmark to the race course. Great spectator spot also. The best spectator spot will be at the finish where racers will appear from the bottom at about 35 seconds out as they descend the off camber Neko head wall special through the trees into the World Cup high speed shaquenes sprint to the finish. Weather so far expected to change at least 3 more times, looks great for the weekend. Two bonfire pits rolling Friday and Saturday nights. Practice starts Fri 12-6 !! :rockout:

Awesome race this weekend! The rain didn't put too much of a damper on things, and I'd say everyone still had a good time.

My only gripe was, between the time the course was opened for practice on friday and race day, numerous options were taped off or changed. If you open the course for practice, you shouldn't make changes after the fact!

Also, who has photos from the weekend :D ?
