Good Morning!!

It's been a turbulent week around here. Since they came in and fired the branch manager of 20 years, we've been juggling a lot of things to keep current customers happy while having the CEO and sales manager looking over our shoulder and questioning everything we do minute-by-minute throughout the day. It's made for the longest. week. ever.

Thankfully, our band is playing at a big, outdoor party this weekend, so that will be a welcome break and a chance to let off some steam.

What's everyone got planned?

Morning! Rainy forecast for us this weekend. Tomorrow will probably be relax day with my son, wife is going to some Russian-Belgian food thingy, I dunno.
Then Sunday it's off to Atlanta for business conference, it's an International Operators conference for every nation that flys the P-3 aircraft. Short story, they all bring host nation beer!!

I need a bike ride, but antibiotics and some strange bug bite on me has me down for the count. Tested for Lyme yesterday, who knows?

Happy Friday! I heard "Holiday Road" on the radio this morning, so the day started off good.

Not too much planned for the weekend. We're hanging out with a couple of friends tomorrow night for food and beer. The weather is going to suck all day, so we'll probably spend the day running around doing errands and stuff. Hopefully wife and I can get a ride in Sunday.

Advanced PT this afternoon. The last session was a real butt kicker.

Yo. Plattekill NY State DH Championships this weekend. I pulled out the 'monsoon wear' this morning - full on rubber rain jacket/pants + waterproof socks. I am not looking forward to it, at least for the downpours predicted on Saturday.

EDIT: Yikes! 1-2 inches of rain predicted on Sat....(but sunny and cold Sunday!)

Fighting a head cold this week. It sucks because I have 50 people coming to my house tomorrow for a Halloween party, I can barely talk today.

Finally got some information on my job. My job has moved to Illinois but there will be a local office set up here that I can work at until I want to move. I have no time-line set for when I have to move. In other words I never have to move to Chicago but until I do there will be no pay raises or promotions. In other words I have plenty of time to find another job.

Morning all. Major winds came through our area last night and there are virtually no leaves left on the trees so that means I need to get raking & leaf blowing! It's been a week since I rode my bike so I took Syd to the local park and rode the path around it with her a couple of times before heading home to make dinner...chicken parm, alfredo noodles and a salad. A couple of glasses of wine and I was sound asleep by 9pm.

Supposed to get some big rain tonight and tomorrow, but we're hitting the trails for our regular Friday night ride. Had planned on taking Syd to Fright Fest, but we'll see if the rain stays or goes...maybe Sunday instead of Saturday.

Phew...that's good news. Good luck with the new job search though. Are you interested in relocating (just not to Chicago?)?

I would consider moving somewhere else but things are complicated and I really have no idea what I want to do right now. I think my best bet is to get really drunk this weekend and piss off my friends so bad that moving would be my bet option.

Worst part is I will be working for the same boss. This guy is horrible. Everyone who works for him is considering going to our CEO and saying we can't work for him anymore. We have recently found out he has been running a side business and really spends all his time working on that. To make it look like he is 'managing' he just steps in our offices and tells us we are doing everything wrong then walks out. Of course he still takes credit for everything we do.

Yeah I know, typically after talking over loud music all night my voice is gone the next day but now I won't even have one starting out the night. Maybe I'll go as a mute instead of Mr T.

Morning all.

I am grossed out right now.

My coworker is wheeze coughing REALLY loud and has sounded like hes fighting throwing up on a few coughs.

Missing out on the winter DH series starting this weekend. ugh.

That's nothing. We had a storm last week that dumped 5-10 inches in 24 hours.
