Check out a Konig Ludwig Dunkel if you have the chance... mmm delicious! Bitburger is one of my favorite Pilsners too.

Come to think of it... I don't think I found a beer in Germany I didn't like. Enjoy it!

If it ain't alt it ain't worth drinking.

btw, it's ein Bier or das Bier...the one alcoholic drink in the German language that is "neuter."

And I prefer my wife over Pamela Anderson. Of course I have never had Pamela Anderson, but they are both women, right?
I don't get what you are saying.

I guess my point was....Three Floyds Munsterfest is the best Oktoberfest beer there is!!!!! :weee:

I'd say Staghorn, but that might just be local pride showing through. Granted that is only compared to Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen, Spaten Oktoberfest, Beck's swill, and probably a handful of other German Oktoberfests I've had at different times (all here in the US, unfortunately)... American Octoberfests just taste different than their German counterparts. Richer, and more full-bodied.

If anyone wants to send me on a fact-finding mission to Germany for some proper education, I'd be a willing student. :D

Staghorn is right upthere too. I believe FFF is a Marzen style while SH is another style of Oktoberfest.

Sadly we haven't had much NG beer lately. it has mostly been sprecher cuz there 1/4 barrels are $35 cheaper.

Man, have you seen Pamela Anderson lately?

I haven't seen your wife, but right about now I don't think you're missing much.
