Quantcast

120+20mm does not equal 160-20mm. Or, more to a bike than how much travel it has.

Cyclist, thanks for the info. on the Heckler.
yeah, too bad he's obviously a total newb and has absolutely no clue....that MTBR thread is about the old heckler which nobody rides anymore, unless they're a foul-smelling, meth-addicted transient who stole it. The new Heckler uses an 8.5x2.5" so if you want to short shock it you need to get an 7.875x2". next time post up some relevant info, please. Or better yet send me a PM with the info you plan to post up so I can approve it first. I'm really trying to keep this thread tidy. Capiche?

Punkassean,
You are right about the numbers as they relate to the Heckler and the short-shockering. To be fair though I didn't offer up those numbers, only the link to the posed question. So I am trying a 7.875x2" on the newest Heckler and like the new 'stance' but also feel that the quality of the stroke has been degraded... But not enough to go back to the long-dog 8.5...
Where *you* are wrong though, is in your approach to parking. When you get close to a parking lot next time, let's meet up and I can show you a couple pointers. If you pick up on things quickly, I'll even help you out with some advanced techniques relating to auto-erotic parallel parking.
Also, if you feel the need to up your taste in vehicle aesthetics, take the car on your right into consideration (also note that driver's parking ability, he must really be a stud, eh?)

p.p.s. if you gave me a door ding i'm gonna fvcking murder you.

p.p.s. if you want to call yourself 'cyclist' I think you need to rethink your position on road and cyclocross riding...huckling and bmxicaning hardly counts as cycling. Mods, can you please change cyclists screenname to 'flatbardave'? Thanks.
