Video from the closing weekend at Hafjell Bikepark in Norway. Most likelye the best bikepark i Northen Europe, as seen in Dirt from Anti Days of Thunder(not to take anything away from Åre, Sweden).

Lots of varied riding in this video, showing all levels of riding, dh, chainless racing, a little hucking, freeride, dirt...spirit and enthusiasm. Some easy trails, some not so easy...

Don't know the amount of riders showing up, but it is a lot.

Man! Hafjiell looks great! Is it just me or does this place have a stunning resembelance to some of the trails at Whistler? Any how...looks awesome and I want to go there

that looked awesome. The opening sequence with people just riding with their buddies really captured what mountain biking is all about for me... sweet!

I have never been to Whistler, but I guess it would be weird if they did not copy some of the most popular trails in the world.

Helmetcam from the newest trail, Rollercoaster, a manmade trail with bigger jumps, you have to commit to this one, as every jump is linked to the other(more or less)...I don't ride this one :-)

So THAT's what a bike park with money invested in it could look like. Very nice. A little too much "a-line" for my tastes, but those big doubles look sick.

Ya it looks like they know what they're doing. I like how on their website, you click on a trail, and it takes you to an HD widescreen helmet cam of the trail top to bottom. Why can't every resort do little things like that?

haha 0:45 in that Rollercoaster vid is pretty sick. Looks like Dirt Merchant/A-line with some real balls.

Haven't seen to many trolls, but close encounters with some cow rear ends, and some very cute sheep is a sure thing :-D

Place looks soo rad. Love that most of the jumps are just table tops but have a bit of actual gap in them.

Arent their summer hours crazy there? Dont they open up twice in the day?

Lifts are usually open from 1000AM til 0500PM. It is light a lot longer, so the dirt-kids often have sessions later in the evening.

The crazy summerhours are more apparant further north. You can ride singletrack to 10-11 mid-summer, but I guess it's not enough riders to justify keeping the lifts open all night, even though they could :-)
